By Laboured Go To PostQuite rude of hixx not to empathise with our pain. The worst pain any human or group of humans has ever had to endure in all of history except maybe Mike Ashley owning the club. But at least we aren't celebrating and dancing being bought out by slavers.
Not yet anyway. Save us Bezos!
lads, is this a penalty or not?
most people over here seem to agree that it's not, but... it's clear that he's sticking his elbow out, is it not?
sorry lads it was very uncouth of me to post what i did
please forgive me. i blame it on the nerves for tomorrow. I'm in SHIT CITY.

It shouldn’t be a penalty because on balance the chance that it was intentional are vanishingly small. But in 2022 that is commonly a penalty for reasons I could never explain to you.

Arm position is natural in the context that he’s turning to avoid a bell that has been rocketed at him from short distance hitting him somewhere painful.

Wycombe favs to beat whoever goes through you reckon? Saw you’ve only lost once under Neil
By Daz Go To PostUnited bros, would you care if Pogba went to City?I want to say no but I would be pretty angry watching him lift a couple trophies with them, which he inevitably would.
All of a sudden it was United that was the problem and poor Paul did nothing wrong.

my head is weirdly calm about the game
my guts do NOT believe though

Wycombe are the weakest team in the playoffs for sure but as they have made the final it shows it doesn't really matter. Big pitch at Wembley though, will not suit them. But they are utter cunts. Cheating cunts. Cheating wins.
Wouldn't have a problem if Pogba went to City. Ultimately, he didn't live up to expectations. The terrible state of the club, it's poor coaching choices and its lack of structure definitely played a part in that. Mourinho and Solksjaer never had a clue about how to best utilise him. But it's unarguable that on the pitch Pogba also just couldn't give a fuck sometimes.
He's the symbol of the last 10 years. A good player, signed for mega money, who could never justify the hype as he was never given the chance to succeed. Attitude worsened and fans started to detest him.

I give zero fucks about Paul Pogba
He was let go for free
Bought back for 100 million
To do nothing
And leave for free again
Paul Pogba. Manchester United.

By Daz Go To PostUnited bros, would you care if Pogba went to City?nah he’s never shown any respect for our club before so why start now. It’d be on brand for him. He’ll probably show up there in shape and actually follow tactics too
By bud Go To Postlads, is this a penalty or not?No pen for me. Trying his best to avoid the ball (turns his back, tucks in his closest arm, etc.) and it's also very close by.

I'd have Poggers at City, but as Ornstein said on NBC, we probably won't want to meet his demands ultimately so it's a bit moot.
What a game yesterday, we managed to dispatch another bogey team. 2 left, Atalanta at home and Sassuolo away.
By bud Go To PostThat's a pen. No bias.

I wasn't watching live and after the uproar I expected it to be way worse. It's much more 50/50. His arm swings out from his body in a natural way, but it's out. Bit of in the grey zone between natural position and clear handball.
By WoodenLung Go To PostHave we talked about Lampard saving Everton yet, after they mess benitez brought them in?
M8 they were 15th when he was sacked, they didn’t fall into the relegation zone until Lampard got the job 💀

Came in mid season, one day left of the transfer window, without any time to prepare and still got more points than benitez per match. and on top of that had tougher fixtures left. #thenarrative fails again. Statue of Big Tory Frank coming soon.
By WoodenLung Go To PostSmart of you to leave out the clear winner (Solskjær).

I just read a (stats based) ranking of the 10 managerial changes the other day which answered this very question:
https://www.espn.com/sports/soccer/insider/story/_/id/33844923/premier-league-coaching-changes-ranked-best-tottenham-worst-norwich
1. Conte
2. Gerrard
3. Marsch
4. Howe
5. Rangnick
6. Mike Jackson
7, 8. Watford
9. Lampard
10. Smith
Although based on the author's own criteria it seems like Mike Jackson should be much higher, but it's probably just too small a sample size.
I expect most here would have Howe higher, so if you're wondering it's because Newcastle have been lucky on the pitch, and because they spent 100m
