He will not do anything of note as a coach ever again. There is nothing tactically impressive that he ever did like say Mourinho, Cruyff, Pep, Michels, Busby or Klopp (or many other Italian managers @shanks)

He clapped and got the team to constantly whip in crosses, with great heading players like benzema, bale, ramos, varane, ronaldo all waiting in the air. I didn't leave because of the 4-0 (grats on the victory FF). Mom got diagnosed with breast cancer but luckily it wasn't spreading at the time. So I needed to take some time off football and other shit to help her, dad and mom divorced some while ago so I was the main man to step up to help and support however I can. She's now doing her radio therapy post cancer surgery. Sheesh that was stressful for us, I can't imagine what it was like for her. I'm crossing fingers she recovers well and lives a long lasting life.

Then, during all that I proposed to my GF, we got engaged! I fast tracked the wedding for October coming up so that my mom can be there with us. Tons going on in this front right now. Y'all won't believe it but we're expecting 800 some people, gonna be a circus. I never thought I'd get married but here we are.

GF is starting to slowly move in with me fulltime, but culture and traditions state that she can only really move in post wedding - I'll respect that, ohh well, gonna enjoy the last few months living alone.

Then the past few months, I've been focused on getting a new job, it's been a hell of a ride - details in the career thread. The TLDR is I didn't get the job the company went on a hiring freeze just as I thought I got the job after 6 interviews.

And so much other shit. So much... Feels like levels of maturity are happening all at once, I'm embracing it all positively.

All in all, health is good I guess, I hope, and that's what's really important. Been working out at the gym as lockdowns have ended again. Just gonna focus on being good mentally and physically.

There could be a chance of your first point actually occuring. We know that at various times last season Barca were struggling to register players and there have been recent reports that it's still an issue.

I think in terms of man management he's definitely good, but nothing he's done tactically has ever stuck out as impressive for me. Perhaps I'm wrong but we'll see wherever he ends up going next.

Congrats on your mother's prognosis. Hopefully she recovers well. And congrats on your engagement as well. I was at a pretty big wedding a while back. Not 800 in attendance but still pretty mega. The organisation alone sounds like hell.
