Is he nailed on for Barca? How do they have the money to keep splurging on huge wages lol?
Would be really interesting if Liverpool moved for him. Shit for everyone else in the PL.

I wonder if he likes the Europa League and if he enjoys being badly managed
maybe we might have a chance

I was just thinking how random it was that two Champions league winners left Juve to go join two small English clubs in Chelsea and Middlesborough. I don’t think we will ever see something like that again.
And they were able to pretty much turn the fortunes of those clubs around, well briefly for Middlesborough.

Probably not, but if PL keep up financial superiority… you’ve had Trippier and Bruno leave Atleti and Lyon for Newcastle, Carlos leave Sevilla for Villa. That isn’t the same level as Juninho/Ravanelli, but Carlos leaving a CL club for a side that came 14th or something is pretty telling.

So what you are saying is that Arsenal have a chance of Lewa.
Nice.
By Oddinho Go To PostMané leaving sucks but it will be fun at least to think about who replaces him. Wonder if we go with a more traditional CF?Doubt it would work well under your system.
By barber Go To PostManchester Club can save BarcaWe have the technology.
I'm certain Barca were briefing, not even a month ago, that they were in the hunt for Haaland. Now they can't even register the players they've signed on free transfers.

Our system currently isn’t converting chances at anywhere near the rate we need it to. I don’t think a change would be the worst thing in the world.
Imagine having the crossing ability of our fullbacks and having a load of short-arses upfront.

Barca should have really cashed in on Messi those last couple years, and used that to reblance their books, instead they got too emotional and attached to a figure rather than taking care of the club. They're in a bad spot now, and may have to sell even their younger/brighter talent to keep afloat which isn't good for them obviously or for the league.

unless the plan is to change how you play then you need to find a player similar to the ones you already have.

Depends what you mean by traditional. Haaland is a 6ft3 penalty box finisher so is traditional in that sense, but is also quick on the break and can press.
Lewa played and thrived under Pep.
Really surprised a megacorp hasn't stepped in to buy Barca.
I spose only billionaires and states can buy football teams since they have such high overheads and shareholders wouldn't be up for it.

the days where it looked like brøndby would both relegate and go bankrupt were sensational. would wish nothing less on those rats.

as long as you don't take darwin I really don't give a fuck who you get.

By Daz Go To PostReally surprised a megacorp hasn't stepped in to buy Barca. Not that easy. Not only would it be extremely expensive, it would have to be voted on by fans and they would surely reject most offers.

I imagine there's something between the demise of Barcelona and them being able to flout all financial rules, I just don't quite know what it is

Another summer of Barca desperately trying to trim the wage bill to get any sort of refresh into the squad.
Nothing will happen, worst case scenario is that they have to be bailed out, but they’re so far away from where they need to be. Going to be a long, hard road back to near the top.

He’s better than Maguire. So that’s gonna be a hefty sum to pay up for United. Can’t see any scenario in which we let go of him easy.
