By Fenderputty Go To PostDislocated shoulder sounds like … son of a bitch that blows
Not the wrist?
World Series has lived up to the hype for me so far.
Yamamoto take a bow.
Soto leave these bums.
Ohtani please be ok.
Judge please show up in NY.

By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostBat flips are amazing. Been a part of Korean baseball for a long time.I like flips too, but gotta call bs on it's not about showing up your opponent🤣
Not about showing up your opponents but enjoying the moment with fans.
By Pac-7.5 Go To PostSeems like a wise thing to do with your $700 million investment.Seems like a gamble
Same thing. Trot him out there, what's the worst that can happen besides some sort of career trajectory changing medical trauma.

That's one interpretation of it
By blackace Go To Postbecause Ohtani might play with a dislocated shoulder?
Apparently the news has been positive the whole time.
I don’t think they risk him unless he is fit to play and perform at a good level. I don’t think the Dodgers are dumb enough to risk him
Roberts expects him to play, and I have no reason to doubt him unless it is gamesmanship.

How much? I am not sure.
Franchises risk players everyday, B.

You are 100% right. But I would hope the Dodgers would have more sense than the risk arguably the most prized player in sports history.
I still don’t know how he hurt his shoulder. Looked like wrist to me. Maybe there is some misdirection by the Dodgers.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostYou are 100% right. But I would hope the Dodgers would have more sense than the risk arguably the most prized player in sports history. It was for sure his shoulder.. The weight of his body and the force of the slide tells us that. Also his conversation with the Japanese doctor that got picked up here in Japan. He said he heard something pop in his shoulder, the doctor asked if his shoulder came out, and Shohei said maybe.

Man. It is wild how often teams ruin players, or allow players to ruin themselves. I get it, it is the World Series, but you are up 2 games, and if it is a minor subluxation that is 2 to 6 weeks... I might give him a rest, and if you lose, look at your options then...
Yesssssssssssss
Champions!!!!!!!!!
Was in first pretty much all season.
Come from behind victory.
My second time seeing us win it all. 2017
A perfect 12-0 in the Korean Series.
Amazing.
I love baseball.

I would 100% not play him if what you say is true. 2-0 up against a pretty pathetic Yankees so far. Don’t need to risk him.
I won’t lie, I have mainly been listening to Dave Roberts, who ain’t no doctor.
Dodgers have been pretty responsible so far this postseason. Maybe they should have played Freeman as much, but they dropped him when he was clearly uncomfortable and couldn’t continue.
They also have held Yamamoto to a good pitch count, even though he could have continued yesterday.
But Shohei and the marketing is something else.

One of my favourite seasons as a fan in any sport.
Either went to or watched every game on TV this season.
Got to see the rise of one of the best young players in world baseball who will win MVP for the season.
And a player I first saw play live in Seoul in 2011 was named Korean Series MVP.
Would have been at this game if it wasn’t for rain that caused the schedule to be shifted back one day:(((

I mean they didn't risk him pitching this post season so I think they're playing it smart.
By Fenderputty Go To PostI mean they didn't risk him pitching this post season so I think they're playing it smart. Not asking a dude who hasn't pitched in almost two years in the WS to pitch is probably playing it safe to win.
I think it will be fine but it's a risk I wouldn't let him take up 2-0
Dodgers won almost 100 games with their lineup missing Betts and/or Freeman for a good chunk of the year. This is what it looks like mostly healthy I guess.
Can’t watch as working now.
Looks like Judge is stinking up the place and Freeman has secured the MVP.
Was hoping this would go 6 or 7 so I could watch it next weekend, but this might be over tomorrow.

It would be nice if it were competitive at least.
Anyway this is baseball not basketball, 3-0 comebacks are definitely possible (just not super likely).

It has happened exactly once.
Against the Yankees.
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostThis will be a sweep. GG.Yanks in 7.
Horrible for baseball to have this many eyes on such a bad outcome.
