By diehard Go To PostI've seen players be out for two weeks with them.
Can anyone else think of any recent concussion protocols and how long they took? This seems kinda long?
By diehard Go To PostI think Ayton and Crowder were out like 10 days and missed an extra game even when cleared for conditioning

Im usually quick to shit on a coach for leaving a guy in, but Wes really carried on like he was gonna walk that off. If you can get up the court and set a screen, you can let someone in the game or on the sideline know you're hurt.... That's a long time to run around just to collapse at the first deadball then need to be helped to the locker room.
I get vets wanting to earn their tough guy badge but that ain't it

Read something just now that Bud apologised saying he though the had a stinger or something. I don't know about their medical staff but at no stage did I think it was a stinger. Maybe a banged knee but you don't buckle over in pain trying to change directions with a bone bruise like that.

Even if he didn't think it was serious, no one thought "hey coach he's hopping around on one foot, let's take a foul or timeout to give him a breather" so we're not playing 5v4 on D?

But more than that, you never want to be the one subbing someone else out if they didn't ask.
If a guy tweaks his ankle and plays on, he's gonna take exception to you saying he can't play through it. It'd be entirely different if Wes was laid the fuck out, straight up immobile, or screaming in pain - or if he was one of the core guys/long term pillars of that team. He went multiple possessions. And if a teammate thought it was bad at first, they probably decided to keep it to themselves the moment he felt he could set a screen.
You've got personal responsibility as an injured player is all I'm saying. But that sequence really had all the signs of a vet role player trying to put out that tough guy image.
Wes, especially. He prides himself on it. Hell they refer to him by Iron Man nickname the moment he's hobbling about.
By masud Go To PostNoel back and looking healthy so of course Robinson turns his ankle…he is out? I missed the first 3 min of the 3rd so maybe it happened there.

Man, another soft tissue injury, though to a guy who was just trying to get bench warmer minutes this season:

You would think, though, that the refs would just blow the whistle and try to get the dude subbed out on their own. No need for a timeout, just a brief stoppage of play. "Coach, come get your mans." If he's able to, he can continue walking it off on the sideline.

Stockton and Malone have forever tainted Salt Lake City.
Donovan Mitchell to Miami or something. Gobert... he can stay where he is.

By the way, frisky is now expecting the Celtics to blow a 27 point lead late in the third quarter and I have to admit it could happen

By diehard Go To PostIs it just me or is Tatum really inconsistentI don't think he or the Celtics realize how teams have improved in game planning against him.
