By Willkiller Go To PostI have no doubt Sancho will come good for United (ok…a tiny doubt), but I am really surprised at how slowly he's started
Think it’s very stupid he is playing left tbh. He may prefer it there, but now all of our fucking players drift over that way and there’s loads of space on the right he should be exposing.
Honestly another shit performance. Olé really needs to sort this out. He's talked up the great depth of this squad before the match began, but it took about 60 minutes for them to okay like they knew who each other was.
Bad performance, will not convince Ole to rotate any more than he already does lol
Sancho and VDB were okay i guess. Whatever, it’s only Carabao.

West Ham have tried to play like that the last few times they’ve come to Old Trafford and it’s finally worked.
Martial can get right in the bin.

27 shots on goal, but just 6 on target. We've a real problem with creating actual chances. Not helped by our centre forward dropping deep by 30 yards and leaving us with no presence in the box.
But that's just one problem. Like N8 said we've too many players who like to drift left which leaves us with no threat in the right.

Obviously it’s only the league cup but it was probably our best chance of a trophy this season so still a bit annoying.
Don't care about being out of the cup, do care about how many poor individual performances there were. Like, fuck lads that was your chance to put yourself in contention for the first team but never mind yeah?

Saying that, but Bruno was the worst player all night I reckon lol
Just potshot after potshot
Sanchos best performance.
Saw some very sharp turns which allowed him to spin his marker and run into space. Also some decent one-two play with Lingard and Martial. But he needs to play on the right.

He was awful. Huge case to be made that one of the major things Ole needs is a player that can at least do the things Bruno does even just to a 50% capacity, because without it we look like we could play for all eternity without scoring at times.

Think pretty much everyone who could be regarded as first teamer should be ahead of Martial in the rotation at this point

My dude, this plus your views on Dalot have me very concerned :lol
That was Sancho's worst performance in a United shirt imo. Timid and completely out of sync.
Bruno relentless shooting is insane, it works out throughout the season but in games like this, it's just braindead.
You have one job, Wolves. One job.

Greenwood was excellent when he came in btw. Had his marker terrified of committing as he knew he'd be beaten.
It's a catch 22, fringe players need need match time for sharpness. But won't get them with performances like these because they lack sharpness. It's why it took them 60 mins to wake up.
By Willkiller Go To PostOle out of another cup is it?
this one doesn’t count m8, only slave states win this one
Sancho is a great player, will definitely come good. He's young and the league is very different than what he was used to in Germany. He left before he could get any game time with City's first team, so he's still finding his feet as far as playing in England. He'll get there.

Agree with this, he’s too good not to be good (I think he’s a better player than Rashford, for instance), but he might not truly thrive until we get a manager who can coach an attack.
By inky Go To Postcan't even enjoy a lolspurs in peaceWe're good at this.
Sancho needs to start playing on the right for one
Centrally would be acceptable too, in specific cases.

By Laboured Go To PostMy dude, this plus your views on Dalot have me very concerned :lolHe ran at defenders more this evening than in any other game so far. Showed good vision in picking out passes to players in space and made some intelligent runs. He definitely needs to become more involved tho. And at times he's too safe. But I thought he was a 6 or 7 out of 10. Not a great performance, but enough positives there to build on.
