i rarely order from domino's.
but i do have to say: it's very cheap, and--for a chain pizza at least--not entirely bad. their tomato sauce is 100% sugar, though.
but yeah, a good italian > chain pizza.

I like Papa John’s but haven’t eaten pizza in ages. I don’t think there’s any good little pizza places around me. All trash Pizza 2Nite or Village Pizza.
Used to smoke weed with the lads who ran the Twickenham village pizza after nights out. Good times.

I'm not really a greasy kebab man. Give me some greek street food or a nice shawarma over that - quality is going to be higher and you don't have to worry about rats and shit in their kitchen
edit: I'll take cod and chips from a old style chippy as well. But not one of those that does fish, chips, and every other fast food you can image.

Dominoes and pizza hut are a lot better than a lot of independent places. I know I've been bitten when ordering from a random pizza place off justeat.
papa john's is the worst i've ever had: greasy, flavourless; pathetic.
i've grown to appreciate the margherita more lately. #back2basics

What sort of independent place is it though? Is it wood fire neapolitan pizza? Or the style you would get from most fast food places?

By WJD Go To PostHomeslice is lifeSo good. There is another place in London my brother brought me.. small chain, used a specific kind of pizza dough that I'm forgetting. Delicious.
Edit: Just looked it up. Franco Manca.

Franco Manca is huge now. But still super cheap and with eat out to help out it was like two pizzas for £8
edit: it's sourdough.
There’s a place in Putney called Dynamo that’s always filled with cycling wankers but does one of my absolute favourite ‘nduja pizzas. So good.
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostYeah it's pretty much chain level now isn't it?
Still really good though. They were selling flour last time I ordered from there, so I bought some to make some dough for frying pan pizzas (like the ones Pizza Pilgrims were selling)
By Bungie Go To PostFranco Manca is huge now. But still super cheap and with eat out to help out it was like two pizzas for £8Oh wow, yeah, looks like there are a ton of them. I don't think they were quite as common when I went with him years ago, but I knew he said it was growing. The one we went to was downstairs, which may or may not be a very common occurrence. Tasty and affordable like you say.
edit: it's sourdough.
Homeslice was so crowded, I can't imagine how restaurants will look in a post-Covid world. I feel like for awhile I'll be a little bit iffy about being in some place that is so packed to the gills you can barely move.
Pizza Pilgrims is always a good shout. So is Pizza East and Voodoo Rays if you can get to them.
Love Homeslice, but really need to be in the mood for something a little abnormal

Yeah Franco Manca’s nice and super affordable
On my high street there’s a Pizza Express, Prezzo and Zizzi’s. And an independent Italian too. Madness.

our favourite takeaway recently has been Wingstop
I went for the first time with n8 and Arnold before Tenet and I reckon my gf and I have had it delivered at least twice a month since. Spending about £40 each time 🥴

Fucking hell that place was incredible. Might risk covid to go back.

I'm sorry....£40 at a chicken wing place?
London pls

brother they are wings straight from the swans at buckingham
I was going to say half of that must be drinks. Spending £40 on wings alone is impossible
My local was doing 50p per wing on Mondays before this all kicked off

Portuguese press are claiming that Leicester and Leeds have Rúben Amorim in their shortlist of replacements if their current managers leave.
I don't think he is in a hurry to leave, he has a 20M€ release clause, he will most likely get the chance to play in the Champions League next season, has a young and talented squad that can get even better and the club broke their transfer record to give him the only player he asked.
Interesting that Wingstop is in the UK too. I wouldn't really classify it as great, but definitely pretty decent and they have some good deals. Probably have to up their game there a bit though since I assume hot wings are not quite as pervasive at least as a standalone restaurant.
We have a popular local chain where I'm at called Plucker's which is very nice, but outrageously expensive. You can easily spend $40 on just wings there.

Shorty is very much of the opinion that the UK just fucking sucks for wings, so Wingstop being comparatively mediocre ion the US would check out.
I don't know if it's true or not, but I read or heard somewhere that wings as a dish were an overly successful way of selling off bits of the chicken no one wanted (to the point where the wings became more expensive, presumably per kg, than the parts of the chicken which contained more meat).
I knew Traore had been comparatively poor this season, but 0 goals and 0 assists is not a number I expected. I think when he got 2 goals vs us he'd only had like 1 or 2 goals total prior total so I'm fully expecting him to produce today.
Don't fancy Wolves's chances here, both in terms of winning and having a single shot on target all game.

Yeah this is true. Just a way to get rid of the not needed bits.
Whoever made that decision is a genius
Mahrez has been in great form lately. Helluva ball from Rodri to start it off. Nothing Dendoncker could do there.
Jesus Christ.
What a pass by Rodri. Instant control by Mahrez, whips it across and it’s tapped in by Dendoncker.

Wings boys. We got a Piri Piri place down here. The wings are soooooooo bomb. Unlimited wings Tuesday and Wednesdays £11.99 big fuck off double wings too. My record is 28. Gunning for a 30 piece as soon as they re open.

His thighs maybe but his calves don't come close to Aurier's.
