Just finished the last two episodes of Severance.
You're telling me they end on that cliffhanger and then take nearly three years off for season 2? That isn't right.
Anyway, I'm glad I watched this so close to the next season because it was very good and I quite like everyone involved, particularly Britt Lower.

By KimoSan Go To PostJust finished the last two episodes of Severance. The WGA and actors strike shut them down for almost a full year. They were supposed to wrap filming May 2023 but then didn't finish filming until April 2024.

what a film.
By Zabojnik Go To PostAbout to watch Special Ops: Lioness.s1 was solid fun
How bad can it be with this cast.
i didnt know they made a season 2
Agatha All Along did something very uncommon in it's last two episodes. I'd love to know what the creators thought process was with how they put the final episodes together.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostIf they have access to ANY source content, it will likely be better than trying to create a sequel of the first using nothing but their imaginations. lol
Book hasn’t even been published yet.
By Zabojnik Go To PostFive eps in, still watching. Solid fun it certainly is. Didn't know it was a Sheridan joint.Aight the first ep of season 2 is fire
That extraction scene had me on the edge of my seat the entire time
By domino Go To PostAight the first ep of season 2 is fireI won't dispute that, however they're not making it easy for me to continue suspending my disbelief when the person taking part in the mowing down of bad hombres is someone who was sitting in a meeting in the actual situation room mere hours prior.

Returning to twin peaks
No way there are people that think season 2 is better than season 1
Either way coop is like my version of Ryan gosling in drive

What a start to a career, damn.

I remember when Taylor Sheridan was just the sheriff's deputy on Sons of Anarchy. He gave that up pretty quickly and then gave up on acting altogether to write and produce full time. Seems that was the right move because Paramount will greenlight anything he's behind.
By data Go To PostReturning to twin peaksSeason 2 has some peak moments but a lot of middling lows aswell. Still worth watching and you need it to start Season 3 which is amazing.

Finally someone to die on this hill with me. There was some good things, the Mitchum Brothers were great. The 5 minute long static on my TV to represent the atomic bomb explosions or the 5 minute cigarette scene though. Dumb AF filler people pass off as art. IN the end I thought it was just mid.
Yeah
ME is basically written like an early 90s sci fi miniseries. I'd trust Amazon before Netflix too. Shame I don't trust bioware at all to not ruin their own product again.

I mean I'll watch it. They did a good job with Fallout and the ME setting appeals to me. Not sure why I never got around to playing it. Probably has something to do with exclusivity or some shit back in the day
Yeah after Fallout its hard to be overly pessimistic about it
I think ME was solid on the 360 at first and all the other cross platform titles had weird save transfer stuff going on.
Hope it doesn't suck

I always maintained Fallout would be prime for TV, and done correctly would be huge. I'm not sure if it was done "correctly" as it leaned on all the Bethesda stuff, but it was bigger than huge. They nailed the tone if nothing else. The inherent silliness helped.
I love Mass Effect more than most and even then I would say no chance it's any good. Space sci-fi on TV is a hard enough sell. Although the way casuals loved STD, soI don't know anymore.... Depends on what angle they lean on, I guess? original story or based on the events of the trilogy? cop show or galactic war?.
Abrams Star Trek, specifically Into Darkness is what I always expected a Mass Effect media adaptation would aim for. That's the ceiling in my mind.

By Elchele Go To PostSee I think it had some interesting twin peaks moments in there. They were all just brought down by whole sections of masterbatory lynch moments. Hated the music endings? We've gone too far now.
It's like people saying they skip the Kevin Finerty episode in sopranos, or thinks it would be better without the Dr melfi scenes

By Fenderputty Go To Post So … I've admittedly not played the games. Does this have a change at being good?Probably not. They’ll probably just focus on Cerberus.
By Laboured Go To PostI was much more shocked at the prior reports that Euphoria S3 might still be alive.I would love to know when they are thinking of shooting it because the cast keeps getting busier and busier.
