I liked Cruella. It was too long and the lad who played Horace was TERRIBLE but I thought it'd be dreadful and it really wasn't.
I did not like Army of the Dead. It was too long and everything was terrible but I thought it'd be dreadful and it really was.
edit: okay the lad who played Horace was also very shit in I, Tonya. Makes sense.

Spirals was really bad, and in ways that I hadn't anticipated.
It was more like a Saw fanfic in how surface level even the most basic themes of the past Saw movies (which in and of themselves are extremely basic) were implemented / utterly re-hashed in an amateurish manner.

Warner Media's Executive Vice President
Wished they announced the sequel, they are probably taking their time due to the recent fusion with Discovery to form Warner Bros Discovery but it has to be on it's way.
I liked the movie but didn't love, still am fully invested in the universe.
The cast is good and seems to love Mortal Kombat, they have everything set up for the tournament, just get a new director or at least a better editor and they will have another hit on their hands.
Mortal Kombat was an interesting title for us, because I will say that while we expected it to do well, we did not expect it to do as well as it did," explained Wilson. Considering that it had a budget of $55 million, the film has grossed $81.2 million as of the end of May.
"It's been one of our top assets on the platform," continued the executive. "And those customers are now crossing over into watching all the other great titles that we typically see, but also some of the great library content that we have with Friends, The Big Bang Theory, The Sopranos, etc."

In my mind the original MK was way better, it might be pure nostalgia but i'm not going to something dumb like ruin that now.
Watching Speed
There is no ramp on this missing section of freeway, and both sides of it are level.
Big MGS vibes from the soundtrack

By Hitch Go To PostWatching SpeedEven if there was a ramp, a bus a load of passengers travelling 50mph ain’t clearing that gap

By LFMartins86 Go To PostInvalid Video URLCertainly feels like there is way too much going on with this film. Is it Strange Days? Or Inception? Or Blade Runner 2049? Or The Prestige? Or all of the at the same time?
It looks like TV-quality by a first-time director who's only ever produced TV shows, so, yea, doesn't look great
Kinda interested, even though I've had my fill of anthologies and POV horror films. I still need to watch Leatherface and Among The Living, but Inside is my shit and Livid was cool.
By LabouredPatriot Go To PostI love A L'Interieur, which I'm aware makes me a bad person.
Most definitely.
I've seen it more than once. Clearly, something is wrong with me.
By data Go To PostApparently already been released in China and Hong Kong, and not very good. Guess it's a faithful adaptation
Two weeks ago there were some rumors flying around that production was a nightmare because of Boyega's constant partying.
this feels like a personal attack
speaking of cronenberg, has anyone seen his son's film, 'possessor'?
think I'll check it out this weekend

Nomadland........sure was fucking boring.
Just as boring as your average Terrace Mallick movie but didn't look half as good.

Gf wanted to watch Far From Home last night. Was fine until the scene where Peter walked through a beautiful Dutch flower field and Jon Favreau turns up in his massive government plane and fucks up all the flowers someone took hours cultivating and no one bats an eyelid. Fucking American exceptionalism. 2/5

Just watched The Secret of my Success, the 80s Michael J. Fox classic with the "day bow bow, chickchickachicka".
Wow that movie just can't fly anymore.

Managed to find a rip from the Diamond Luxe disc version of Gravity.
This soundtrack is bonkers. I never got to see it in cinemas, but the Atmos design is insanely good.
