By reilo Go To PostBezo's money is real Elon Musk is fake news til he can cash out on his stock. He basically needs to spend hundreds of millions of his own money to buy the stock to get billions.
This is what we call, "paper rich".
And Tesla is the most overvalued company of all fucking time. They make less cars in a year than Toyota does in two weeks and their profit margins might as well be nonexistant.
this sounds like sy on hdr
#istandwithelon
By Perfect Blue Go To PostI agree that Tesla is probably overvalued but their value doesn’t come from how many cars they produce or their profit margins. They’re valued as high as they are because of pure potential of future growth in a revolutionary industry and the amount of liquidity in the market right now is crazy that even pointless companies are flying high. Y’all looked at Peloton stock over the last year? But they don't share any of their tech, unlike the other EV companies making strategic partnerships to help boost the big companies.
By reilo Go To PostBut they don't share any of their tech, unlike the other EV companies making strategic partnerships to help boost the big companies.Given up on trying to figure out the market. Just get on and enjoy the ride. Seen people exit all their positions and have purchase orders entirely on TSLA from Sept until it hits $1300. I think the game is now just be the last one standing or be the first one to corner the market so that you set the rules.

I’ve been thinking a lot about social media lately. I deactivated my Twitter at the beginning of December, so at this point it’s likely deleted. I’ve been much happier without it. I’ve done the same with Instagram. At this point I only have Reddit and Discord on my iPad, but I honestly find both of those pretty boring. The only advantage of Reddit was using it for news or speciality topics.
Overall, I’ve been feeling like I’m always looking at a screen, so I wanted to change that and use my time more productively. I acknowledged before I’ve had issues using my phone a lot, but this year I’m taking more steps to change that and it’s been good so far.

That's awesome. I always come out the other end of a social media hiatus happier. It's all bad for you
By sy or die trying Go To PostReally? In terms of animation, I'd put space dandy season 2, mob psycho 100 season 2 above it. Shiit, space dandy only exists as a celebration of incredible animators. Damn near every top tier animator participated on that show.
Both of those are also dream projects with dream staff. Movies too, children of the sea, princess kaguya, Summer wars, the Eva remake movies etc.
it's not like dennuo coil had toshiyuki inoue and takeshi Honda on every episode lol.
Sorry for the late replies
I admit that haven't watched Space Dandy, so I am talking except of that
In terms of animation consistency, length of the project, the level of detail I have yet to see anything that tops Dennou Coil.
Animes, especially these days, are very efficient with their production in terms of great animation. Yes, the ones you mentioned have absolutely incredible animation, but a lot of them use very effective production procedure in order to get those intended. Be it, having incredible animation for percentage of an episode (Mob Psycho, One Pinch Man), decrease the level of detail of the art (Gurran Laggan, Naruto, every bloody Trigger Anime), use repetitive layers in order to achieve high condensed animation frames for certain scenes (Haikyuu, Attack on Titan), Speed up the action through use fewer frames (Darker than Black) or just be full blown movie picture with high budget, albeit have a lower minutes of animation Studio Ghibli, Summer Wars, etc)
All while achieving animation thought digital animation, not hand-drawn cell framing (Macross, Patlabor, etc.)
Denou Coil, never resorted to any of those shortcuts, Hence why the development of the show took 10 years and the budget being reported was higher than any other anime before it (Dunno about moddern anime budget) according the animators and produvtion team (Honda actually worked on it too, he hates talking about his works for Ino)
The characters movement were slow and deliberate, each character had special animation style (so no character animation frames was re-used), There were certain scenes where the characters had to use futuristic googles, which appeared otherworldly monsters to be visible. Those monsters had to be drawn layered for their animation frames in order for them to appear ''3D like). The animation style were consistent throughout.
Add to the fact that it was a whole series of 26 episode, all done at the same times, its bloody impressive project.
It wasn't efficient, probably idiotic but bloody hell is it incredible to watch fluid animation consistently through and through while having great story and plots.

Twitter especially I just don't understand still how it works. The layout always confused me and sometimes messages will translate on my browser or videos don't play or it only shows only what someone has retweeted not what they tweeted.
If the news is important enough I'll hear it from somewhere, someone or slaent.
The only reason I use social media is to connect with friends who live in other countries or follow bands and musicians and their releases.
That’s it.
And I don’t use Twitter.

Yeah I mainly use my iMessage chats the most. Reddit is the only one I’m debating about removing completely or not. I mainly use it for NBA highlights and that’s about it. It’s more useful than toxic for me, unlike the others.
I also used to use Twitter mainly to follow gaming critics or industry people and that was it.

Glad everyone is finally waking up to just how bad these platforms are to your general mental health.
By Lunatic Go To PostGlad everyone is finally waking up to just how bad these platforms are to your general mental health.Yeah, for real. For me the moment I realized I was addicted was catching myself having a gut instinct to press the icon on my phone whenever I unlocked it. I’ve been without Facebook for like 5 years now, and have slowly been trying to get rid of the others.
Instagram was probably the worst on my mental health, it caused me to constantly compare my life with other people — everyone going on trips or getting this or that, it made me feel super shitty.
The moment you start being social on social media and connect with people you know is when it goes to shit.
Highly curating is a solution but you better only follow people/companies that post things and not their thoughts.

There are still posers, unavoidable but of all the mainstream SM platforms, its the least offensive - also avoid the thots.

This is exactly how I use Twitter and as a result I generally find it fine. Spend a lot of time unfollowing and blocking people's ability to retweet etc.
The 'old place ' was even worse on my mental health than any social medias I've had. I like social media as a way to just kind of passively retain friendships based on thing that get shared instead of randomly messaging someone to ask how they're doing
But that's also because my idea of relationships is from The Sims where you have to constantly check in to retain them because video games raised me.
