Yeah that is basically what I am going for. I guess my feet a bit oddly shaped, cause all the shoes with best comfort reviews and so on never works for me. So now that I have found one kind that is working, I just keep going with it.
By Lupercal Go To PostKibner got taste, Merrells are great for comfort and running.Hah, thanks!

So now that I have found one kind that is working, I just keep going with it.I understand. Shoe comfort definitely varies from foot to foot. Just be sure to get your shoes sized appropriately. A thumb-width gap between the end of your toes and the end of your shoe is a good fit for athletic wear and half-thumb-width for more causal wear is the usual recommendation.
I also have to get wide variants of shoes which can be hard to find for my small shoe size. So I usually end up having to get shoes with mesh sides as they don't make my feet feel as squished-in.
You could always change up the soles. I got a 46 normally but with the soles I wear for comfort, I'm a 45.5.

Yes. Duh. I mean the fact that a transplant is taking issue with this is kinda funny to me. Sanuk slip ons are also pretty common though. Maybe it’s just because I grew up surfing and was a kind of a beach bum at times in my life /shrug

Bottom of their jeans frayed af, bat signal that they are deadbods.
Jeans and flip flops is island gear tho so it's pretty common on folks in or from like Hawaii for instance

Yeah the times I hit up islands that was the most common thing, jeans and flip flops. Cali thing too tbh, even up in cold SF sometimes, some people just gotta have air on their feet.
Me I just prefer sneakers up till I can't (it's just too damn hot) then I take the flip flop L but I got some super comfy Oifos so whatever.
