If someone is willing to grab a gun bc you just wanna see your kid, I don’t think that’s someone you really wanna tell “do something with it”
Custody battles and unhinged exes are no joke I'm grabbing a gun too dealing with that breh also wouldn't go to someone's property like that without packing myself or petitioning the court for resolution or calling the cops if I have rightful visitation. Right now the shooter is in the shit but we're not gonna get all of the info.
By Not Go To PostSondheim died. RIP.The man was a genius. Weird timing as just last week Tick, Tick...Boom! came out where Bradley Whitford plays him.
91's a good run tho
This is seriously impressive. Only reason I could tell they used CGI in the original video was because some people were way to comfortable standing near the edge on the Tug Of War section.
@cat owners
My sister’s neighbours are cunts to their cat. They’ve left it out many cold and windy nights in Liverpool over the last 12 months. I found out about it today, my sister has their consent to rehome him and I’ve offered to take the little demon in.
What am I in for?
All I know is his name is Chichi, and he sits at his owners door in the cold waiting to come in of a night and the pricks don’t let him in.
I’m not really a cat person, always thought I’d end up with a rescue doggo, but a rescue catto is just as good on principle I suppose.

They will knock everything off of any surface. They will eat plants and use furniture as scratching posts. They will wake you up in the morning with noises and even jumping on you from a high height, if necessary, in order to get you to feed them.
If you don't keep their litter box clean every day, they will poop and pee somewhere else. Also, whatever room that litter box is in will smell, so be sure to have some kind of odor neutralizer in addition to cleaning out out every day.

That’s a good primer. Anyway to ward off their evil spirit to avoid possession and the like? Do I need to pay them 10lbs of catnip a week?
Every cat is different so I guess the best thing you can do aside from the usual see a vet/get food its cool with/etc stuff is just give it space in your place to acclimate. Cats warm up to new situations way slower than dogs do so just carve out an area with little traffic that's their spot more or less (and if they pick a different spot just accept it lol) and give em a week or so. They'll come around to you on their own time.
My cat has basically refused every bed, toy, and stand I've ever got for it. Will chase ice cubes all day and body slam cardboard boxes for hours on end instead. Adopting pets that have been through some shit is nice tho. They definitely show the appreciation for it.

Also Kibner definitely schooled me on shedding. Something to be aware of fr. Be careful with litter and note what the cat is used to. I was all about dust litter until I noticed my cat would hulk kick the fuck out of it and sometimes get the dust on its back - which would clump and lead to a very unhappy situation for everyone. I'm settled on crystals now but i had to make sure it wasn't too fine or the same problem would occur plus the cat would sometimes track it everywhere.
If yours was used to the outdoors, then it may be about that trashcan life too. May need to secure trash and food you leave out a bit more seriously to be on the safe side.
All cats are diff but some recommendations from your local cat obsessed jerk:
Here's a list of poisonous plants:
https://www.petmd.com/cat/emergency/poisoning-toxicity/e_ct_poisonous_plants
Diffusing/using essential oils is also a no-no.
Also keep plastic, rubberbands, and anything else you notice they chew on out of accessibility.
Far as litter experiment and let the cat decide.
Some cats like open litter boxes and some like hooded and some just throw litter everywhere, if it's a big boy you definitely want some larger boxes. Put said box in a spot that little dude feels safe.

If he doesn't like the plastic shield you can always remove that, I had to for some of mine.
Scratch posts, figure out whether he prefers horizontal or vertical scratching.

I would take him to the vet to get all his shots and if you can afford it get him some tests. Depending on age and issues he might need some specialty food and the vet should make some recommendations on that score.
Get a bag of cheap mixed toys see what he prefers. Sometimes cats just like hair ties, bread ties, foil and a cardboard box though.
All cats should be brushed but if he's a long hair he will definitely it for hair matting/knots. Be sure to be gentle about puking, most cats get scared by default and many have had owners just be straight abusive about it.
If you got questions fire away.

Growing up, we had cats but they were always outdoor cats. Never had cats living inside 24/7. I honestly was surprised to hear of litter boxes for a while.
Eventually, the parents got indoor dogs and a doggy door and the cats, being superior intellectually, figured out they could let themselves in at any time and eat the dogs' food.

That’s a good tip, I’ve heard from my sister that he’s a bit of an outdoor cat. My general rubbish/food bin in the kitchen is a basic lift up top so I’ll keep an eye on that.
I’d like him to be an indoor cat out of preference because there’s roads nearby and such. I’m also in a completely different but nearby town, 30~ minutes from Kensington in Liverpool where he is now.
Might sound daft, but would walking the cat on a lead to acclimate him to the new area be a bad idea before allowing him to roam the streets and clap stray cat cheeks?
He hasn’t been neutered yet and he’s 12 months old. So that’s on the list of things to do.

My girlfriend is nipping the pet shop after work tomorrow to get some stuff too.
Kinda worried the cockatoo will eat the cat within a week, ngl. That flying bolt cutter has put the fear in every dog it has ever seen. Unlocked his cage once, perched himself on a dog bed and had two Labradors cowering in the corner of the kitchen when I was younger.
As bad as Kensington is, and it absolutely is a shithole, I’m certain the cat hasn’t come across any other animals as demonic as the cockatoo I’ve got now.
Wouldn’t let the bird out around the cat obviously, but if the cat jumped on his cage? it’s losing a paw at minimum.

I did the leash thing with our 2 (rip Rocky) when they were young. Both of them didn't go far from the house and just milled about our street at most. Generally kept to our garden and driveway when outside. Our previous cat before them was a Norskwood rescue who was 80% outdoors. Wouldn't use a litter tray, either. Once walked up to the neighbour across the road as he was planting in his front garden, sat his ass down in the fresh soil and dropped a big kitty load in it whilst making eye contact the entire time. Covered it over and walked off. Neighbour was pissing himself laughing at it.

One of my cats does this in the litter box, most are shy but I got one that just stares me down about everything. Give another cat treats and not her first? Stare down. Another cat is getting attention and not her? Stare down. Moving furniture around or bringing something new into her house? Stare down.

The demon didn’t like the first room we put him in, so now he’s roaming between a few rooms. Seems quite affectionate though, within an hour he came to me and my gf for pets.
I miss having a pet cat, even if all of mine have been outdoor ones.
Oh, like Dy mentioned, they shed a ton. Invest in multiple lint rollers. Have one in each car, one in the closet and one in the laundry room. You will find yourself needing them when you don't have time to go searching for one, so just get a bunch and put them in convenient places that the cat can't get to.
Brushing them daily does cut down on the shedding a lot, so definitely keep up with that.

I don't think I've heard of him. A lot of people in Twitter have though. Shame that it was a Chadwick Boseman type of situation.

Unless you were into that luxury wear, you wouldn't have. Sad.
By Lunatic Go To PostDid you just call Rath a poor?I don't buy designer clothes anymore. He's correct.
My dad worked at Macy's/JCPENNEY in the late 90's. He would get discounts in a lot of that stuff. I was in my teens. When those jobs ended and I moved away I started by normal clothes that were inexpensive. Also thrift stores have good "designer" clothes that people have donated.
Cat’s just chilling at the top of the stairs. Comes to us if we call and will push up against our hands for pets. Doesn’t like his sides touched though. Hopefully I can get him seen to soon.

Been looking at some childhood homes (me and the parents digs) all around the bay area and scust facing at how they're all at a million or more now. Housing is insane. So y'all can have some frame of reference.

Is that house supposed to be expensive? Amateurs. Asking from far away Canada where Real Estate has ballooned out of control.
It's just my favorite city to link cause it's always been hilarious. Major metros beat it easily but it's not a metro, it's just some tiny outer city that's insanely priced. Also Canada has some real issues.
Got the cat some supplies today. All the standard stuff, bed, scratch post, food etc. Also a clicker and some treats. Seems responsive to the clicker already, but I’m not using it much yet while he’s still settling in.
Yeah my cats have loads of toys and then instead steal lollipops out of the kitchen and go fucking mental.
