Things are progressing. Been touring spots in NY and CT. Got approved for what is for sure our number one choice in CT. On the water, nice amount of space and won't have to compromise on where to put wfh equip, floor to ceiling windows all around. P gud.
Weather has been fantastic. It is super foreign to me to enjoy upper 60, lower 70 degree sunny weather with very little humidity
Winters about to be some shyt though

Is it too late for workplace horror stories?
Done seen it all: people getting smashed to smithereens, stuff stolen, destroyed, etc.
Last Monday someone died at work from unknown causes as I stroll through. Looking at everybody like it's their fault. With their none CDC guideline following asses. They're trying to kill me. It's like workplace Get Out but with more detestable mayo eating Xbox Series owning dog-in-the-mouth-kissing, yoga practicing colonizing #fffffs.

Y'all ever come across any wild life in your neighbourhoods? Just saw a fucking coyote strutting down the street as we were having an evening walk. Those things are numerous in Toronto but not as ubiquitous as raccoons.
America is full of just bears, wild turkeys, coyotes, deer, foxes and even some wild cats just being like "oh sup" in people's trashcans and backyards.
prob one of my favs

Awwwww.
Had a huge fucking snake just meandre its way through a seated family gathering in Cyprus once. Uncle was up asap and took its head off with a spade before it could do anything.
Skins and prepped it for dinner afterwards

Those things are numerous in Toronto but not as ubiquitous as raccoons.Owls, rabbits, squirrels, mice, armadillos, snakes, turtles, raccoons, lizards, and probably other things that I have forgotten. Not sure if you would count where I see those things as a "neighborhood", though.
We just get some foxes, badges, the occasional deer, squirrels, cats. UK is pussy-mode when it comes to animals.
By Pac-12 Go To PostHow (DY, don't look) in the hell do you make gumbo with a kitten, though?Gumbo is indiscriminate when it comes to which animal meat you throw into it.
e: i've had deer, squirrel, rabbit, chicken, beef, shrimp, crawfish, and probably five other different types of gumbo. It really doesn't matter.
Good for gumbo for not discriminating.
Let that be a lesson, or rather, a light and a beacon for all you other discriminating bastards out there.

At least it’s not a plastic bag
Bobcats and rattle snakes at my parent house ... several occasions for both. Coyotes were super common too. Same with deer and quail and rabbits and shit.
New neighborhood. Nope nothing.

On campus they would open the garbage room doors to get at our shit.
In Victoria/Vancouver it was just the homeless that are basically considered the wildlife. As bad as that sounds but you could throw a can on a beach in Van and a homeless will immediately come cross and pick it up. Recycling day they always came by at night to get all the cans.
