Poor Koko ;_; Seems like this truncated season is really fucking with people’s muscles.
Nets Wolves rescheduled for 4pm ET (slap bang in the middle of fuckin’ champions league). No Kyrie, Harden or TJ so Chris Chiozza is gonna start lol. Rest KD too, take the L and unleash him and Irving tomorrow.

Damn
Can definitely see more load management now since the playoffs are right around the corner
Nuggets were gonna be a tough opponent too

By Kibner Go To Postnot really wrong with his blake griffin/zion comp tbf
zion getting to do his own thing vs the dribbler beating the rubber off of the ball for years is a huge development branch.
By DY_nasty Go To Postnot really wrong with his blake griffin/zion comp tbfHe was very wrong about how Zion even scored in college. He did several post-ups then as well as some light point-Zion duties, too. Zion showed off a good handle and passing for his size at Duke. I shat on him going into his freshman season because his jumpshot looked fucking stupid and people where gushing over it. His handle and general skill level absolutely shone at Duke. It's not like they really had many guys on that team to feed him. He had to get most of his buckets his own damn self.

By RATHasReturned Go To PostThe players voted for it. Silver went along like a puppet. The owners and Silver wanted to have the season done before the Olympics (cuz money). The only options they gave the players were this compressed schedule or a normally spaced out one with much fewer games. The players chose the compressed schedule instead of fighting for a normally spaced out season that cut into the Olympics but had the full allotment of games (cuz money).
Sucks for Jamal but hey, that team is still a contender I’d say. Hope he gets better soon, damn fun player to watch.

Between Morris and Campazzo they can make it work. Neither of them are nearly as good but with the team being as deep as it is I don’t think it’s a total season killer at all.
Sucks for crunch time more than anything, Jamal/Jokic just lethal for that stuff. Up there with Dame/Nurk
ahh the NBA with the old "play a game in the middle of the day to get around the 24 hours between games rule so we can have it on national TV in the timeslot we want" move
edit: that game is early tomorrow too i don't know why they played this afternoon.

So do you think they are legit contenders to win it all without Jamal?
By DY_nasty Go To PostThis year? Sure why notof course if other teams suffer huge losses it's on, but Den minus Jamal vs a rested Lebron and AD? Not seeing it.
The injury stuff is far from over sadly

By DY_nasty Go To PostIts either to trust their depth over other squads is all I'm sayingI would be way more positive if they lost anybody besides their primary ballhandler or Joker 🤷🏾♂️
By blackace Go To PostI would be way more positive if they lost anybody besides their primary ballhandler or Joker 🤷🏾♂️murray inconsistent as fuck anyways. someone on denver would've had to step up regardless. jokic steers that ship
I think Jokic and depth is that team. His passing and IQ are what make them click and everything else is gravy. I like Jamal, very good player and I've seen him make some damned crazy circus shots but he's not a "star" in that same sense as the league top 10 guys are. More a top 20-30 guy.
DEN can still absolutely take the Lakers without Murray. It's an uphill battle but it's really whether they can clean up the gap when AD/Lebron sit. (Obviously LA is stil the favorite this year and anybody who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves. Same team as last year but deeper.)

In other words, Lakers are light work.
By blackace Go To PostTerry is quietly having a breakout year thoijs murray ain't top 20 if he ain't clearly better than rozier.
