Probably they feel letting PC users play at 500 fps it would make them have an advantage over PS4 users, something like that.

David, if you pretend to have a PS4 in the future, i'll give you a little tip if you want to have Rocket League for free:
You can create an account via the website, and sign 14 free days of PSN Plus by only setting a credit card on your account. After you've signed plus, you "buy" RL for free when it's available and it will be forever on your account, and will be available for you to play whenever you were a subscriber.
You just have to remember to desactivate the auto resub stuff from your account, cause it stays automatically set on your psn to auto resub once you 14 days trial expires.
