Every game has a day 1 patch nowadays. Think it's just for some changes, since they have to give the launching build early for Sony to upload to psn servers.
They can continue to work on the game in the meantime.

Servers are having problems. Psyonix have acknowledged it.
Game has a kind of nice Season mode. You play a league(+play off) with the AI. Can be as short as 10/11 games. 1v1 up to 4v4. Rookie difficult is easy as fuark, score goals from the kick-off evry tym. I scored 15 in the final, LOL.
Then I played a 1v1 season in the next level (Pro?), a bit more of a challenge, but still won. It's a damn nice practice.
Training mode though... god damn, how hard are aerials right? :(
Trophies are pretty easy. Already at 51%. Customisation is fun.
Whatsapp RL group is an... interesting proposition.
