Whiteside is 27 million a year and Hayward is 33, pretty sure you can make that work by dumping a scrub or two or absorbing it into an exception. I'd actually not be surprised at all if they weren't trying to make this happen. As much as I'm not a fan of Hayward the human he slots in beautifully. I'm sure they're after another PF win-now style now and I'm legit curious who it winds up being.

Yeah, I severely doubt it happens but Whiteside's getting paid way more than anybody here wants to admit. There's a sucker out there somewhere, whether it's Kangz or Knicks or somebody.
I'm actually totally fine with letting the guy walk at this point. Kanter's a good bench C and the team is really just short a really good PF and a decent bench PG as far as I'm concerned.
