By Yurtlicious Go To PostMessi's numbers looked average until I noticed that he has 20 assists.
and oh man Clive Tyldesley is iconic, what a shame. People need to divert their negative energy away from his replacement though lol
And for good measure..
Of course they choose the most controversial bit of his statement to lead with.
His full answer is a fair answer tbh.

“If Man City is not guilty of it, to be punished by some million is a disgrace. If you’re not guilty you’re not punished. In the other way, if you’re guilty you should be banned. So it's also a disgraceful decision. In any case, it’s a disaster.”

Wouldn't give him the managers job when he was asking for it either. Clown club for over half a century, you love to see it.

"Because if you are not guilty you do not pay. I'm not saying Man City is guilty, I'm saying if you're not guilty you don't pay. You are not punished, even with a pound. I know for them money is quite easy but it is just the principle."
Thanks Jose.
So have City fans finally admitted that they don't actually care about human rights, slavery, financial doping, etc?
Cause I need to know who to add to the ignore list.

Yeah it is. Just amazed SA ever had a licence if they were only ever going to fucking pirate it :lol.

I've long expected the bid to fail, it's a nightmarish geopolitical knot which seems impossible to untie. Should never have got to this, but it did.
I will say though, at this point, the way the Saudi's have conducted themselves (human rights issues and piracy issues taken as red).....perhaps they wouldn't have made for great football club owners...

I think yesterday's result goes to say that we do need a Grealish and a Sancho to our squad. It always amuses and bemuse me when I see people say "will they accept to stay on the bench?" or "do we even need them?" Well, we most definitely do. We need a strong squad. I don't even think our first 11 is good enough to talk less of those on the bench. Never mind the fact that we have a lot of games to play in a season. Man City constantly rotates players so we do need these players. Also the defending for the final corner/goal was shambolic. Don't know what Lindelof was doing there. To be fair we would have still won the match if we finished off some of the chances we created, also the unfortunate case of injury/substitution.
All these were unfortunate yet it was obvious going into this match. Soton nullified Greenwood while applying effective press to constantly disrupt our flow. The second half was so disjointed in terms of actual playtime and we progressively ceded possession to them. The moment we went down to 10 men I knew it would be a miracle to finish with all three points. Of our back four Maguire is the only one who doesn't seem to be about to shit himself when under pressure. Luke Shaw seems petrified of trying something the moment someone stands in front of him. Our overall play isn't quite as smooth as I would like it to be.
Whatever happens between now and the end of the season we still have a lot of work to do with our play and we do need some significant addition to the team.
