By n8 dogg Go To PostSixth time we’ve dropped points following Chelsea doing the same this season. Awful record.Disgusting.
Palace away. Ugh.
By Nonja Go To PostOf course we finish with 10 men instead of Southampton.
ijs
palace have been in awful form, think you can and should rest bruno/pogba
By Daz Go To Postwhat happened?i was one of the ones who got banned for making fun of evilore's ear plugs in the club... i mostly lurked but piped up at the wrong best? time
By ATTICUS H Go To PostManchester Club are definitely drawing tomorrow. 2-2

Less concerning than this game. Always a threat on the break but all three of our remaining opponents don’t press like Saints do.
Gotta hope we can go into that last game ahead of Leicester otherwise it’ll be super difficult. Chelsea get a free 3-points tomorrow, so hopefully Liverpool can take at least one off them, and Sheff do the business on Wednesday.
Feel like Olé got shown up a bit there. Our game needed some freshening up tactically but he couldn't do it. The Williams injury was unfortunate as was Romeu not getting sent off. But we should still be good enough to see out games like that. Can't have things going 100% smoothly all the time.
Bit concerned with how tired our players looked this evening. West Ham and Palace aren't as tactically progressive as Southampton so we may not be under as much pressure in that regard, but right now I'm bloody nervous for this weekend.

The team's done well to claw back a lot of points but can't falther now. Just can't.
Still a lot of twists coming. Hopefully all positive. Can't drop anymore points.
Worst thing is that the players looked absolutely fucking knackered at the end of that.
Concerning considering there’s about 5 games coming up in the next 2 weeks.

Congrats, Wycombe.

The thing about that final corner as well is that there were 4 Southampton players at the back post compared to our lone defender. So even if Lindelof somehow keeps it out the still have another player ready to tap it in. Complete systems failure at the end.
By Fergie Go To PostNorwhich are unshackled. We definitely losing.
Pukki hat-tricki.
Christensen disasterclass coming.
Lindelof was asleep on that corner. Wrong side of the Saints player. De Gea needed to be more commanding possibly too.
Shit result to take but fuck it. We need to keep going and win every game left. Probably need to freshen it up on Thursday because those players looked knackered and we have the Semi on Sunday. Then again I'm more bothered about the league than the FA Cup.
Level with Leicester. If they lose one more game and we don't until the last game of the season, it could come down to goal difference (if we lose vs Leicester)

By Laboured Go To PostThink United and Chelsea will both play B teams in the FAC.JLingz special
By Doicare Go To PostAbsolute joke of a result, Southampton deserved nothing from that game.
Always believed in da statz
I mean, we weren't really going to keep that streak going without injuries or fatigue, that was what? 5-6 games on the bounce with the same starting 11?
Need re-enforcements - Saints came prepared to nullify Greenwood and Pogba.

Chelsea get two days more rest than us for the semi final ffs
We should have killed that game much earlier. Martial could have had 3, rashford had a massive chance too. Was just one of those games.
Hope Shaw isn't out for long.

By KP Go To PostYes that's generally what happens when Southampton foul all game & don't get players sent off and then only score because United are reduced to 10 due to injuries.

United were the better team today that's just a fact.
Gonna be four points behind the Chels by close of play tomorrow. Hopefully Sheffield can get at least a point. But then it’d be so fucking us to lose against Palace and fucking Moyes.
You do worry about things potentially spiralling out of control with the pressure, fatigue, fixture pile-up and now some key injuries all starting to build up.
Big wakeup call.
Big wakeup call.
Predicting results is impossible at this stage. Nobody could've guessed Chelsea or Leicester getting spanked the way they did. But I'd still rather United's run in than either of theirs. Chelsea have Liverpool and Wolves. Leicester have Sheff Utd and Spurs.

Liverpool will roll over for Chelsea, so them potentially losing to Wolves won't be enough.
This is in Leicester's hands imo.

Absolute soft lad mentality.
Shame.
To be at 3rd this stage of the season after a transfer ban, losing Hazard and inexperience coach in Lampard is amazing.
The real damage was done pre-lockown, so many points thrown away against minnows - needing us to perform miracles at the close of the season.
I always thought Europa was our best bet - nothings really changed tbf.

Tonight was a blow as it's clear the players are starting to tire. But Leicester are in a far worse position than us, form wise and fixture wise.

Mad interview from big Ralphie lad after the game. Basically saying that we don't want to have > 50% possestion in games as its not the way we like to play but united's midfield was so shit we had no choice.
Lester's fixtures are horrible and you guys still have the head 2 head on last match day.
Calm down lads. You got this.

Shame.

Slightly mistimed accident, not even looking at the player.
Sure he got there as quick as he could.
My optimistic predictions for the end of the season:
Palace A - win
Chelsea N - loss
West Ham H - win
Leicester A - draw
No idea if that’ll end up being enough in the end.

By WJD Go To PostMy optimistic predictions for the end of the season:Depends on how Leicester fare. They're without Soyuncu for the rest of the season due to suspension and Chilwell and Maddison are both injured. I don't think Rodgers has it in him to reverse the downward trajectory of the side. Next round of fixtures will tell a lot. A win against Palace puts us in the top 4 imo. Vardy's in good form however and I do worry about them doing their own thing and telling Rodgers to get fucked.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA fuck me.
If Romeu got there any later the game would have already been finished.
