By Frustrated_me Go To PostHmm dunno, to me he seems like he needs space to make runs and driblle. Also, he's short for when we cross in. Requires a whole system change. I love how hard he works and his positioning seems to be always good.Oh this exactly why I think he can play some minutes , obviously is going to be different than having Benzema.

How Benzema doesn't have another assist...
edit: Mendy is amazing.
edit2: Modric got a red for doing exactly that challenge.

By Cleff Go To PostEven Brazilians know what’s up
He doesn’t have the sharpest technique, but it’s probably the most incisive and he hits balls at a great pace
And he’s the most likely to try something
Which has made his return very frustrating because he’s so hesitant to run art people. Get the ball and go. Greenwood gets it. Salah and Mane get it

lets go
I predict that there will be absolutely nothing interesting in it, and Mourinho has spent more time making sure that all the juicy stuff has gone on outside of view of the camera than he has coaching the team.

Greatest manager Ireland ever had.
Mick was great. But Charlton was the coach who brought Ireland to its first ever tournament finals. Gave a generation a lot of hope that things could be better. Ireland was not a good place in the late 80's/early 90's.

Some really great first touch passes in those highlights.

If a footballer did come out now, they could play a few matches without a crowd.
I think that gay players are probably much more worried about the reaction from their teammates/club hierarchy than the reaction from the fans. If I were a gay player in a dressing room full of religious/conservative players, or played for one owned by an oil state where homosexuality could mean death, I'm not sure I'd want to come out either.

The club have the final say on what goes in there so it will just be a puff piece that waves away all mistakes as "difficult decisions are part of football". It's mainly going to be used to show off our fancy stadium and training facilities with a nicely sanitised look behind the curtain of this shambolic season.
Most of the time I don't have an issue with Levy but this doc was always a stupid idea and an unnecessary complication that I'm sure unsettled the players and staff throughout the season. The best marketing for Tottenham is to play well and win matches, not this dumb shit.
By Cleff Go To PostBale fell asleep during Madrid's game last night and Marca is having a fit over it. He's a hero.GOAT Madrid player

That’s true, but you only need to look at the replies every time a club posts something Pride related to see how some may respond.

I’m definitely not saying that fans would be an issue, there will always be horrible people out there and there will be many fans who keep their discomfort about it secret.
But it’s the professional and corporate side of the game that would have the biggest issue. While I’m sure many club directors will be happy to get the positive PR of supporting an LGBT player, there are billions of pounds wrapped up in broadcasting deals with regimes that do not even allow discussion of LGBT issues and imprison, torture and execute LGBT people. Some of the worlds best players are deeply religious and would inevitably have an issue sharing a dressing room with a gay player. Most teams are owned by rich old men who probably have outdated views.
We probably need a truly elite player in their prime to come out for attitudes across the game to truly change. If one of the best players in the world came out it would be impossible to censor it and if they became available as a result every club would be scrambling to sign them. I totally understand why an average player would consider coming out far too big a risk to their livelihood.

Good to see the two youths. Williams v McNeill could be a duel.
I might not watch the match (gasp) and go to the beach instead.
So Antonio has scored six this season, all in the last four games?
edit: seems he's scored eight overall
