By Meier Go To PostWhat is more likely – that Ernst & Young are crooked and untrustworthy and willing to put their status on the line or that a hacker, Der Spiegel and UEFA are? UEFA who have an overwhelming history of being crooked, the hacker who is literally in jail for blackmailing companies or Der Spiegel with a history of fabricated stories? The ruling is the ruling. UEFA failed. It's much, much more likely that Ernst & Young are. Do you know nothing about them?

Heres the list of mugs.
Did you actually look at what they did or just go "other clubs bad"?
By sohois Go To PostIt's much, much more likely that Ernst & Young are. Do you know nothing about them?If the primary ruling body for all of sports thinks they're trustworthy enough to accept what they have to say, then who am I to argue. This case is a drop in the bucket in terms of major rulings from CAS. An impartial, independent body looked at the evidence and said these are the facts.
Meier and Dan
whether you're in the clear or not, the other side of the aisle won't ever buy it. No point in even arguing, I feel.
I'm pretty sure you did something dodgy, I mean come on lmao, but maybe not dodgy enough to warrant all of this.

Then don't argue? City got away with it in the end, and the rest of us pointing out how ridiculous the decision is isn't going to change that fact.
By Hitch Go To PostJesus, the line between club loyalty and delusion is thinthey could literally say the same thing
no one is going to win this.
By Yurtlicious Go To PostMeier and DanOh yeah, we've definitely done dodgy things. Literally every company in the world is dodgy to some extent. Everyone is bending the rules to try and get a leg up. It is the nature of success across the board.

That is the point. The facts laid out suggest continuing to think it's "ridiculous" is in fact ridiculous.

By Cleff Go To PostWhat does Extension clause redundant mean?
We HAVE to keep him and we HAVE to get top 4 next season.
@Shanks I have the same worries you have too about struggling against teams that don't attack us, it was a big issue post lockdown (Brighton, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Leicester).

"Although June 2021 is the official end date of Aubameyang’s deal, The Athletic understands Arsenal did insert a purchase option on an additional year. This technically granted Arsenal the ability to unilaterally extend Aubameyang’s deal by a further 12 months, if they meet certain financial conditions.
There was an agreement that activating this clause suited nobody’s purposes. For Arsenal, the financial conditions would have been punishing. For Aubameyang, this summer is the right time to sign a deal that will offer him a degree of security in the latter stages of his career. He’ll require a contract that lasts several years, not a 12-month extension. The clause has effectively been deemed redundant: there is a recognition that you do not hold a player or person of Aubameyang’s standing against their will. If an agreement is found, it will be a mutual decision."
We are missing creative players, we have less losses than City this season I think but just so many ties because we can't create chances constantly

Not calling them “bad” or suggesting they’ve done anything wrong.
🐍 🐍 🐍
"Officially" Ozil has a back injury and he's training with the team so he isn't frozen out like Guendouzi. He was also starting regularly under Arteta before lockdown so who knows what actually happened there.
It's only a couple of years ago that Lingard was starting a World Cup semi final for England. There's still a decent player there.
By Cleff Go To PostThere's still a defent player there. No need to make fun of Harry Kane m8

How many times do I need to state it...
New rules decided for the Portuguese League, 5 subs will continue next season and, from now on, 16th will have a playoff with 3rd place in the second division for a place in the Liga Nos.

The Spanish Ajax lol.. reminds me of those tweets about Barca and Ajax fans celebrating a Messi CL victory, together as the fans sing songs about Johan Cruyff.
De Ligt was legitimately one of our standout performers this season and consistently, like...only behind Ronaldo and post-covid Dybala really

You City m8s here. You got the decision, I don't know why you care about anything after that to even argue about it
I don't get Bein Sport any more so I honestly watched basically zero Barca games all year with a few exceptions. It looks like Frenkie played in a lot of games (40 apparently) -- did he just not perform well or what would lead someone to believe he wasted a year? Their season wiki page says he started 34 of the 40 games so he was playing regularly at least.

The issue is more that other than the GOAT and MATS, everyone else sucked, the team sucked, the play sucked, the tactics sucked, the coaching sucked. Whatever positives you see about the season or league positioning or anything, it's basically Messi or Ter Stegen that caused it
I genuinely expect a 6-0 aggregate loss in the champions league next round IF Napoli doesn't eliminate us.
I don't doubt de jongs talents at all
Edit
Also Meier m8 I asked a question for city fans earlier on and none of you answered. I will not forget this betrayal
Messi and MTS were the only standout players with any sort of consistency. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. Frankie was OK at best, had one/two gif worthy moves and that's pretty much it, otherwise a flop considering the massive hype surrounding him.
