This weekend might be the last time I care about football for a while. If we don't win I'm out for at least a year.
By n8 dogg Go To Postpaging meierRefuse to give hate clicks to trash. This dude is an idiot for posting this. Full stop.
By Vini.lad Go To PostNone of them have been out of it as long as us and we probably are the club that need the most finantially and sportingly speaking.
Tottenham would be the only one that we are better finantially, but they have been on it for what, 3-4 seasons in a row?
Not even better than us financially. Even if you remove the £55m more we earned from CL than you did from EL, we're still in a better financial position.
Sancho is definitely a £100m player. If they can add him and Grealish, Utd will be very scary in attack next season. Probably need another good CM and some depth at the back to be a major threat at the title, but they'll be within shouting distance for sure.
I don't really believe De Gea has lost what he's had before -- this guy is unreal on his day and I'm sure he will be better next season. Can't imagine he does worse at least.

2 seasons in decline so far bruv
Another Kia special, just what we need a 31 year old winger who plays in the same positions as the bloke we spent £70m on.
De Gea is young enough that the talent might still be in there somewhere, but it's been a steep decline since before the World Cup. It's not a situation where he was overachieving for a long period and regressed to the mean, it's a situation where he was overachieving and now he is sharply underperforming, costing us key games left and right.
We are stuck with him because we did what I said we probably shouldn't. When we were ~14th in the table, we offered to make him the best paid keeper in the world, with a potential world class keeper and future England #1 on loan. Tough decision to make coming up (probably another loan for Henderson).

By domino Go To Post2 seasons in decline so far bruvI guess I honestly didn’t remember the prior season at all. This guy was just so good that I can’t fully grasp he’s shit how. It doesn’t seem feasible? Well, Henderson seems like he’s worth a shot if nothing else. I don’t think Utd need to focus on buying a new keeper.

Willian would be a good signing but he's surely getting big big bucks in wages and signing fee.
By Plasma Go To PostWilliam on a free is not a bad business imo. But anything on excess of 150kpw on wages then it's not a good deal.

Anyway, can't believe it's like 6 weeks til the new season lads.
I hope everyone is keeping safe irl - visiting Cornwall in two weeks! Hope it's deserted.
By inky Go To PostBaseball season already falling apart. I warned disso, but he didn't listen.I'm so sad
By Plasma Go To PostWillian could be a pretty shrewd acquisition imo. He’s still got something to offer even if he’s a bit older now.

De Gea should've been kicked out unceremoniously the moment he said I want out
got no time for players like him

He seems to have his heart set on making it at United though.

Henderson will get the next crack at it
IDK it'd be one thing if our defense was getting ripped to shreds and he was on an island, or if he was just getting hit by a worldie every week. But its a bunch of glitchy looking shit when he lets one in. I'd send him to a sports psych myself because not being able to properly catch a ball anymore seems like a mental thing more than anything else. He's even quit coming out on crosses/corners and he'd started to do that a little bit.

Arsenal 'are weighing up loan deal worth over £27m for Philippe Coutinho
Club might as well just ask Kia for his offshore bank accounts directly at this point

Delicious
By Laboured Go To PostTo be fair, it's probably worth it to them to just let him run his deal down if he helps keep them up another year... but it would be pretty harsh on Grealish given the circumstances. I imagine they sell him for £40-50m. Hopefully for their sake they invest that well.
Grealish is probably looking at Zaha and seeing how one more year at a club quickly becomes 3, and next thing you know you're not a prospect anymore and you've missed your chance to take a real step up. He'll be 25 in just over a month, the time for him to move is now.
