By Perfect Blue Go To PostI am ecstatic with how the season went especially if we beat Arsenal in the final. Losing Hazard, transfer ban, youth renaissance, finishing fourth, and the deluge of top drawer players coming in has me buzzing. Think Lampard has done excellent all things considered. The transfer ban was the best thing to have happened, to be honest.
By KidA Seven Go To PostI would buy Max Aarons for the fuck of it. He's a technical player who is Brandon Williams' age. Norwich will sell cheap. I feel like I'm being harsh and dumb as he cost a lot. He's a decent player as his defense has been great for most of the season. Our attack suffers with him though and if Ole really wants to play out from the back, it doesn't make sense to have him be a key outlet. It's like negating the whole point of forcing Smalling out.Stay away, he's coming to Tottingham.

Yeah, this would be a no-brainer. Wouldn’t mind if we went for Buendia either, would be good depth.

Indeed, it's an exciting time.
It has been a poor league though, and Spurs and Arsenal cocking up has undoubtedly helped.
But, I think the club and management are aware of how much work needs to be done, so complacency shouldn't be an issue.
n8 and dean both had Bernardo Silva as young player of the season. Dude turns 26 in a couple of weeks.

so i dont check wikipedia
Wilder and Sheffield Utd definitely blew my mind. I have to say my pick of Jean-Philippe Gbamin as the flop of the season was pretty spot on. £25m and played 2 games.
i correctly predicted we wouldn't win the title
who was surprise of the season? sheffield?
did i get flop of the season right with pepe

Gbamin signed for Premier League club Everton on 2 August 2019 on a five-year contract for a £25 million fee.[6] He made appearances in the club's first two games of the season, before being ruled out for eight weeks due to a thigh injury.[7] In October 2019, it was announced he would be out injured until January 2020.[8] In January 2020, it was announced he would be out until the end of the season. [9] In May 2020, it was announced he would be out injured until November 2020. [10]

Congrats United-Slaent on being back in CL. The signing of Bruno was a master stroke. Your club is clearly on an upward trajectory.
Brenton has to go for Leicester's collapse. He is out of his depth in the EPL. Didn't win anything at Liverpool, bottled the league. Now he bottled a CL spot for Leicester.

Transfer muppetry starts tomorrow, lads. Here's hoping everyone gets the players they want to see at their clubs and even better, sell off the deadwood at the clubs too.

Nonsense. Maddison, Pereira, Chilwell and Soyuncu all missing for the end of the season. Fifth is their second best finish ever.
Imagine taking Bruno, Maguire, AWB and Shaw out of the United side. We finish fifth, easy.
By Pennywise Go To PostUnless United acts severely stupid by not accepting that fee, Sancho should be pretty much done.
I think we'll still haggle (we shouldn't really bother) but other than that yeah it'll happen. The player defo wants to come so it's just a case of dicking around on fees.
By Pennywise Go To PostUnless United acts severely stupid by not accepting that fee, Sancho should be pretty much done. You have one job, Penny. One job!
By Scum Go To PostYou have one job, Penny. One job!I'm sorry Scummo, but I know for a fact that Sancho wants to leave. There is no one else trying to snatch him up.
So the only chance is United bottling the negotiations. Dortmund won't leave their position, the fee that is mentioned is already pretty low compared to what you would pay for Sancho in a normal year.
Plus they want to get that done fast, because we won't negotiate into October.

Please can we promote/give more gametime to:

seems like there were so many awful transfers this year, pretty much anyone could be flop of the season. just looking at the predictions, you could give it to:
Haller
Pepe
NDombele
Gbamin
Iwobi
Lo Celso
Angelino
Moise Kean
and there were a bunch of other shite signings. Che Adams, Fornals, Rodri and Luiz in the best signings predictions might well win flop of the season for that matter

We finished this season on the same amount of points as last season. But back then it was only good enough for sixth.
Conceded 18 goals fewer this time around which is a massive improvement.

I think Lo Celso’s been Spurs best player this season from what I’ve seen. Different player than I expected, but often the only one with any quality while Kane was out.
Think Lo Celso was alright. Took time for him to settle in but has done well recently. Ndombele was terrible.
