Was supposed to see them twice next month, lovely fesitval summer this is
Do love the album by the way. It's a bit of the old Strokes, mixed with some later Strokes and some fresh takes on their sound as well. It's a really enjoyable album and I didn't expect that all beforehand.
Hate how all of this 'bottom clubs are holding out' shit is coming out. Only seen Palace and Brighton actually openly come forward and talk about it. Which clubs at the top end are whining about the bottom ones? Which clubs at the bottom end are whining about conditions? Absolutely no transparency from 90% of the clubs.
By Cleff Go To PostIt has to do with the fact that he broke his contract with us, was a free player and we signed him up again.
Sporting argues that it's a new contract and so the previous deal with Sampdoria isn't valid.
Benfica tried the same with Lindelof's old club but they ended up with an agreement.
Kind of weird to think Ighalo's contract is about to expire. Suspect Shenhua will just take him back now, since they'll ask for excessive amounts and Rashford's now back.
Very enjoyable cameo while it lasted.

Ighalo was a very good signing. Scored a lot and meant we could rest Martial in cup games. Would be great if we could keep him permanently as he clearly loves the club.
All of Solksjaer's signings have been successes thus far. First time in years that I feel United have a proper rebuilding plan.

Shenhua are (reportedly) offering him 400k a week. We won't be bothering to compete with that, and to buy him outright will also be costly.
Would be nice if we could extend his loan until the end of our season. Agree with Clegg; all of our signings under Ole have been successful, and progress has been made amongst all of them - Maguire has grown more solid over time, Wan-Bissaka's getting better at attacking, James is playing far more than we probably would have expected and has got decent numbers, Ighalo has done exactly what he was brought here to do, and Fernandes has been a breath of fresh air. He's managed to blood Greenwood and Williams successfully too.
Only really a few gripes this season in terms of playing personnel; haven't seen Gomes as much as I would have liked, Pereira has offered nothing for all of his playtime, and any time Jones plays I want to die.
the led fred tho leds

Rashford also took a huge leap in his development as a player. Was scoring all sorts of goals before his injury. He was beginning to strike up a good partnership with Martial too.
Shame he got injured as he was on his way to scoring 30 goals in all competitions. And this was before Bruno even arrived. Looking forward to his continued development more than any potential signing.

Went to watch The Rise of Skywalker last night and realized I'd forgot quite a lot of what happened in TLJ so watched that instead. Really, really don't get the hate for it. Some of the dialogue between Luke and Rey is fucking terrible but the final act is like... genuinely peak Star Wars.
As for football, it can stay fucking dead. Can't wait for us to lose more of our best players, whether they be 16 or 33, and not even being able to blame it on corona.

Dave Filoni, the show's director, is incredibly talented and nails the universe in this show so well.

I really want Dave Filoni to be given a feature film, the last 4 episodes of the animated series (designed as 1 film, split into many episodes) was better Star Wars than any of the 3 new Disney films combined.
Dave Filoni also directed a lot of Avatar: The Last Airbender episodes. He's extremely good at his job

Pogba can fuck off. Give me McTominay or give me death.

I fuck with McTominay but if Sol can tame the dab sensation, we're talking title runners. We need more options.
I would actually like Partey but seems like he's Arsenal-bound, if anywhere. Need a Matic replacement, really.
just infect every PL player, isolate them, then whoever recovers fully can play and are inmume to covid, whoever dies dies
you can give me the paycheck later FA

Will be hard to bring in quality in midfield as there are too many options ATM.

Have you considered becoming a world leader?
Matri announced his retirement <3
had one of the most legendary loan spells ever, he came back just to score the winner in the coppa italia final and break that curse once and for all.
one of the heroes of 2011/12 ;_; and coincidentally....
Looking forward to seeing some games tomorrow. Gaming has been dead for a while imo

I've watched some of it (maybe up to series 3 I think). Thought it was okay but nothing more. Heard it gets a lot better as it goes on, though.

Fuck yeah. Literally going to OD on football while the rest of you slags wring your hands about morals or ethics or some bullshit.
Evening, lads. Has football been truly #Abolished?

By Punished Go To PostOld goalkeeping lol
Age 21
First time finish about 8 yards from the keeper's starting position, with Riise having to chase the ball for about 40 yards. Even accounting for how long it would probably take to judge the trajectory of the ball, the advantage the keeper has there is huge.
Give the the Sturridge goal against Fulham
I was watching old WC highlights the other day, I think it was illegal for goalkeepers to be useful in any way back in the day
By Cleff Go To PostHere we go15th May in case some of you are starving for footy.
However, the first game is Düsseldorf - Paderborn, so far from an interesting game.

I've heard they are throwing the dice for place 2nd to 20th for the abyss in early June.
