They're saying that the amount of pressure being pumped directly into an ailing lung(s) may actually be causing further damage because the lungs are not capable in maintaining and receiving that much air. Mechanically speaking, it actually makes 100% sense.

The patients from Daegu all tested positive in a “relatively short time”This line right here, all the side eyes. C'mon man. (Not you Kado but how this is written). What does "relatively short time" fucking mean.
Then buried later
For now, the KCDC’s director-general, Jeong Eun-kyeong, believes it is likely the infection was re-activated after remaining dormant in the patients, as opposed to them being reinfected, the report said.
It probably diminishes a bit, stays in the body and regroups sometimes. Gonna have to adjust clearance tests

So a little update on the seized equipment. We have managed to get everything back from US authorities because the invoices predated the executive mandate. However, going forward, nothing related to COVID-19 that originates in the US can leave, but items can transit through.

Just found out my older brother and his partner had it but are fortunately all better now. Was a little surprised to hear but happy they’re through it. They’re in Turks and Caicos.

Never had a fever but was weak as fuck with body aches and a cough. Was sleeping like crazy and couldn't work. Haven't been tested myself but because my symptoms weren't serious the health authority said to stay home.

By Lunatic Go To PostHonestly have no idea what the market is doing right now. The economy isn't even functional at all and these dude still inflating the bubble. It's beyond me maybe someone with a better insight into the market industry can answer.
The market had one of its worst couple of weeks in history and has rebounded slightly after revised projections have lowered expected deaths and has signaled a possible lifting of some quarantine measures sooner than thought weeks ago.
The Fed is also propping things up.

Man second wave is gonna be great. I’ll bet anything it’s gonna be “we over reacted the first time, let’s not shut down”
Without massive testing and a plan this is going to be a problem until a vaccine comes
By diehard Go To PostThe market had one of its worst couple of weeks in history and has rebounded slightly after revised projections have lowered expected deaths and has signaled a possible lifting of some quarantine measures sooner than thought weeks ago.But that money isn't seemingly making it to any of the service industry. Nearly everyone I know that's in retail/service has been laid off or furloughed for months. Not just restaurants, but hotels, fashion, consumer goods, groceries, etc. None of that is function so where is this money being funneled into?

This is a great analogy, actually.

Not just restaurants, but hotels, fashion, consumer goods, groceries, etc. None of that is function so where is this money being funneled into? Most of the stock prices in those industries still kinda reflect that though. Macy's, Kohl's and The Gap's stock prices are still down 47 to 59%.
I bought Macy's stock (when it was down nearly 65% since February) because I believe it will stay afloat with the $1.5B it just borrowed, then rebound a lot of it's value in the next few years. I don't think i would advise buying anything for the short term right now but then again that's almost always foolish.
Pac-12 should weigh in thought he knows more about this than I do.
I do think that within the next 2-3 months that a lot of places will have people under 65 with no underlying health issues return to work with the same CDC guidelines we had right before the stay-at-home mandates except people will also be required to wear masks. This is all opinion and im pulling this guess out of my butt.
I'm also just hoping that we get widespread antibody tests and way more people have been infected than we know.
I'm also just hoping that we get widespread antibody tests and way more people have been infected than we know.
I think, whether we're ready or not, things are going to start opening back up next month
And I'm sure all events and conventions will be closed until the vaccine is on the market, hopefully next year.

I'll just say that my main focus is retirement investing, and to that end, I wouldn't change strategy at all if you felt good about what you were doing before March. Keep making your regular contributions to your 401K and IRA, don't change strategies or allocations, because you're going to be able to ride this out just fine.
For investing that is independent of retirement goals, you do you. I still believe over the long run that stocks are going to be fine, but if you're thinking about some money you have on the side, maybe you're also thinking of a big expenditure coming up (a house? maybe a kid's education?) and maybe you can jump in and make a quick profit, you're rolling the dice. Skipping ahead here, but even assuming we have escaped the worst of it right now, we still don't have a vaccine, we don't have enough testing to know about our own antibodies, let alone herd immunity, so we're still going to have to be on guard for a resurgence and more economic blow-back. Hedge your bets, and invest only if you're OK with absorbing near-term losses while hoping for gains.
As I have a good amount of money in cash right now, and a bigger amount of money in bonds, both of which I could conceivably dump into stocks aiming to make a quick buck, I also know my main goal for a significant portion of these funds is a down payment on a home sooner rather than later, and so I'm holding off. And as that's what I'm telling myself, that's what I will tell you.
