The coronavirus pandemic is ebbing in some of the countries that were hit hard early on, but the number of new cases is growing faster than ever worldwide, with more than 100,000 reported each day.Everything is just a-okay
Twice as many countries have reported a rise in new cases over the past two weeks as have reported declines, according to a New York Times database. On May 30, more new cases were reported in a single day worldwide than ever before: 134,064. The increase has been driven by emerging hot spots in Latin America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
Over all, there have been more than 6.3 million reported cases worldwide and more than 380,000 known deaths. More than a quarter of all known deaths have been in the United States. But the geography of the pandemic is changing quickly.
we started to slowly reopen malls and restaurants the past few weeks, now today is the first day we've had more than 100 new cases in a single day
think we should just wait for the vaccine at this point

Yeah, I saw an article on the Twitter earlier about how cases in Utar are spiking in ways that can't be explained by testing alone.
Mask up man. Shit hit my office again in another part ... just feels like it’s bound to hit closer eventually
We just reopened businesses and shit officially (although I'm still working from home) just as it hit a new peak in confirmed cases and deaths.
We've been massaging stats for a couple weeks now, separating cases between "confirmed" and "suspected". To no one's surprise, confirmed graph trended down and that was used as a victory lap, but when you put both together you saw the real shit. We are not even close to our peak.

My country should be completely back to normal by 22nd June 2020 minus the borders. Most of our cases are asymptomatic. Here are the current stats for us.
It's great how rich people spent two months making sure only poor people were dying and then went like ok lol fuck it
Stadiums and concerts by mid-summer, enough brown people ought to have been killed to reach the peak by then

can we skip to the part where everyone is arguing over who will be the first to get the vaccine and then the social media shaming over who or who did not get their shot
By Laboured Go To PostWow do you guys even Covid?
By Daz Go To PostLuna putting up some rookie numbers. We did lock up pretty early and it appears to me that we must have got a less aggressive strain of it or it could be our tropical weather as well. I don't think anyone really knows whats going on with this virus. Again our only death was an Italian cruise ship passenger, that we took in due to his failing health, was back in March. We could have just been lucky 🤷🏾♂️.
By diehard Go To Postsmall island nations really winning
Thanks m8 it's as much about attitude as anything.
