By Lupercal Go To PostFirst episode was good, haven't watched the other 2 yet.Ah they are doing that release schedule too? I like how shit just becomes the industry norm, I wonder if Netflix dives in or uses it as a competitive advantage
I like a full drop aswell but a staggered schedule seems more profitable for companies so I can see why they go with it.
3 episodes a week is fine though for me, the next 3 will come out soon and hopefully I've caught up by then.

the boys s2 is alright i guess until now, but i cant believe that streaming services have started to ask "how can we start to bring the worst aspects of television into our fold for no reason"
I so want to watch S2 of The Boys but my wireless router has been shit and I can't get good enough WiFi signal on my TV to watch it in 4K, have to wait until my Xiaomi AX3600 arrives next week.
By inky Go To PostI just want to wait till every ep is out so I can binge itThis is the way.
I hope the show is successful, I haven't started yet probably will tonight so I don't know if it's similar but the Ragnar performance by Travis was mad underrated

Raised by Wolves is good. The Father android was the voice of Bayek in AC: O, knew he sounded a little familiar.

The Boys theory after watching episode 4 -
They pretty much confirmed Stormfront is this Liberty person who is racist. But given that Edgar selected her to be in the seven and she has been missing for all that time I wonder if there is a connection between her ideologies and the statistics thrown out about superheroes being mostly white, like Vaught has that as part of their agenda.

in the books, he was basically the first poweful super made by the third reich. The creator of compound V took him with him to America when he defected but he was essentially raised/groomed as hitler youth. They've changed enough but my guess is this is still gonna be stormfront's origin since they made a big deal with that whole origin of compound v story in the first episode with Esposito's charcte revealing the true nature of Vaught to Homelander. as far as the company's longterm goals who knows.
By GQman2121 Go To PostAnyone watch any of Amazon's Jack Ryan? It looks expensive. But is it any good?very definition of average

Liberty did sound like Aya Cash who is playing Stormfront. However isn't there a contextual connection between "liberty" and what the organization STORMFRONT stands for?
Boys 4
Jeeez was not expecting to see that emit till esque face.

Not feeling Aya Cash ngl, she's like a Tomi Lahren with superpowers.
also I've only just realized how fucking scary it is to give a villain laser eyes, you're like a bad conversation away from being melted at all times.
wasted on Superman.

Got caught up with Raised by wolves, what a ride so far, i appreciate the world building, it's getting a bit slow though
On season 6 of sopranos, James as Tony is the best performance I've ever seen on TV. I mean i dont know any mob families in real life that but I imagine its one of the most accurate portrayals ever.
Could even be the reverse, I can imagine at least a few mafia members imitating Gandolfini consciously or unconsciously

100% could see that being the case.
The little grunts, the mannerisms, the toxic masculatinity think he gets it down to a T. Like the way use violence as an emotional outlet and the way everyone (or most) seem to be so understanding of that fact. Only character that springs to mind that comes close was Wagner as Escobar.
I need to finish but I see why people put this close to the wire.

Also can't wait for the Many Saints of Newark
His son, Michael, is playing young Tony
Watching Columbo Likes The Nightlife. No idea what accent Matthew Rhys is meant to be doing, not his own presumably.

Oh no, American accent is probably one of the easier ones to impersonate
