I started watching it on my phone at work, turned it off at that alien abduction scene. Ain’t no way I’m explaining all that to anyone catching a glimpse over my shoulder.

The downgrade in animation for Uzumaki became a point of contention in episode 2. I thought there were only a handful of really tough scenes in that one - primarily characters running on a beach. That said, the second half of episode 3 goes way downhill. It must be seen to be believed.
praying the sakamoto days anime is good

Should be incredible off the strength of the staff alone. Will be directed by Megumi Ishitani( 1015/957/982) and animation led by Masami Mori(arguably the best animator on the series). Their last collaboration was the 26th opening(best in the series by far)
By Lunatic Go To PostWas Blue Lock actually any good?Worth a watch but don't expect much haha
Oh yeah so I actually finished Attack on Titan.
So while I maintain that S1 and parts of S2 are not gud, that show really fucking pulls through hard in seasons 3 and 4. That is one hell of a glow-up and conclusion. Bravo.

That head animation is South Park af lmao
Lmao you know what now I'm gonna watch it
Love the English voices in Ghost in the Shell Standalone Complex. The filler episodes are kind of meh because there isn't much time really to explore anything in 20 mins

If anyone is wondering what is bigger than One Piece in Japan, than the answer is Ohtani-Yamamoto.
The start of the Fishman Island remake was delayed a week because of the conflict.

Dan Da Dan continues to be weirder than I can anticipate and prepare myself for with each episode.

Blue Lock animator
I worked on the second episode of Blue Lock, and I will tell you why its animation was so bad. Several months ago, I started working on Blue Lock season 2. One in which I would work not only on 1 episode or 2 or 3, but rather 5 episodes. I started working on the second episode, in which I had to take charge of approximately 20 cuts, animating these scenes from scratch, that is, layout.
But curiously, the problems didn’t start at this point. I'm sure that not only me but also all the animators who worked on this episode didn't do the job that ended up being the final result. Despite the low payment and short time we were given, we did the best we could.
“The problems came after the production was tight with their schedule, and they decided to remove many of the resources that were used for the animation. Many of my animations were capped in the final version. Basically, they eliminated all the movement, some frames, or they just made them differently. But the fault doesn't lie in the one that came after me, since they probably did all they could with the short time they had.
These problems, just like in Jujutsu Kaisen in the past or in the vast majority of animes, are a result of the production committee of certain animes that take projects just thinking about the money and not the condition of its workers. And it's because of this that I didn't work on any more episodes of Blue Lock. Once I finished working on the second episode, I decided to get out, and as I thought, the final result ended up being disastrous. This made it a job that I'm not proud to upload.

Hell yeah
Alright, that first episode of Dan Da Dan was very good. Only knew it was about one peron believing in UFO's UAP's and the other one believing in Ghosts. They pulled off some incredible visuals in that one. Oh and never in my life have I heard the expression, taking a woman's bananas. Wild stuff man.
Ps. Don't confuse this show with TheDanDangler...

Finished all 5 available episodes. Episode 5 is my favorite easily. The awkwardness back at school and then the discovery or lack thereof by Okarun led to some hilarious circumstances in the last half of the episode. Crazy coincidence having just watch Constantine again in the past week too.

By s y Go To Postit is truly a love letter to anyone who has tried to create anything or hone their craft. It is also incredibly well animated(with over half of it animated solely by the director) and even the unorthodox way the animation itself is treated through preserving the key animators rough work/construction lines also serves as a celebration of human artistry. There is an interview with Oshiyama(dir) after the credits that is well worth the wait. Fuck ai.check it out if the trailer interests you. it is a quick watch, runtime of about an hour.
This is a fantastic write up: https://blog.sakugabooru.com/2024/06/13/look-back-an-exceptional-production-to-embrace-the-paradox-of-the-artist-annecy-2024/Instead, and right upon the public announcement of this work, word came from their team about their attempts to convey the lines of the key animators exactly as they were. In Oshiyama’s view (and many others), the traditional process of tracing their art for inbetweening purposes tends to lead to a loss of nuance; and, with the industry further fragmenting each step of the animation process, those losses of intent and personality pile up. What was once bearable because of the smaller teams is now a constant blurring of the initial vision. Through a nearly direct presentation of the original artist’s lines and by deliberately limiting the number of animators—which meant drawing half of the key animation for the film himself and leaving the rest up to very skillful individuals—Oshiyama is challenging all the industry trends he found bothersome and unfulfilling.

I was able to get a HG Kapool kit and I'm so excited! It's a non-ancient kit of one of my favorite goofy giant robots and it is so damn rare to find. This one is technically used through Suruga-Ya, but used from that company usually means someone bought the kit, opened the box to make sure everything was there, and then forgot about the kit for years and now want to just get rid of the backlog they will never build.
