Lmfao. Not even wrong.
By EldritchTrapStar Go To PostLmfao. Not even wrong.Speaking of, it’s crazy how Tanjiro had more character development in the first arc of demon slayer than deku during the entirety of MHA,
Hori never realized you can’t have Deku getting all manner of power ups, plot assistance but still be soft as hell.
And boring

why did guts get saved by skull boy? and now he's getting trained by him? guts aint supposed to get saved by anyone but himself smh. is this what happened in the manga?

Just to make sure I understand. Femto grabbed the Behelit Sword strike from Skully by bending space in order to kill the twice reincarnated Kushan Demon King which fused the astral and human world?

yeaaah Serpico aint so bad as far as companions go. I like how it's kinda difficult to hate the new band of the hawk, they don't seem even remotely evil.

Femto reveals he has anticipated the Skull Knight's appearance, and distorts space to redirect the space-cleaving sword stroke at Ganshika.
Yeah, crazy arc. I was gonna rank the arcs thus far but couldn't except for the black swordsman arc, that's at the bottom, but it was the start so whatever.
Onto Fantasia.

Seems a little contrived needing skully to appear at that exact moment with that exact weapon. Could Femto not doing the job himself bring forth fantasia?
here's a nice summary of the layers sy
if you're wondering what the hell is the idea of evil, it was in the lost chapter he removed.
regarding SK and Femto, it was probably easy to predict that he was gonna show up since he kinda always does whenever a huge event that involves the god hands happens, I'm guessing because thats his only window of opportunity.
The Berserk world can be broken down into three layers, each with their own properties and denizens: the physical (corporeal), astral and the ideal. Physical is occupied by solid bodies with little relation to the astral world. Think humans, cities, etc. The astral world is where supernatural things live, including ghosts, incubi, trolls, etc. The ideal is where things that don't have forms exist. Concepts too big or abstract to have a body. The Idea of Evil resides in a region of the Ideal World called the Abyss. It's also where the Vortex of Souls is.
When Femto was incarnated as Griffith (volume 21), the barrier between the layers began thinning. That's because his presence is from a deeper layer, and it caused a disturbance.
When Ganishka entered Daiba's reincarnation device, he "brought something back" with him. It's implied that he went into the deepest region of the Berserk world, effectively turning its layers inside out within his body. He was like a big balloon, ready to pop. So when SK's slash (using a technique specifically designed to cut through layers) was manipulated by Femto, the insides spilled out, shattering the barriers between worlds.

Been binging anime for the last week or so for the hell of it. Some scatterbrained thoughts.
Little Witch Academia - Finally finished this after starting it over a year ago. Pleasant anime if not a little boring in spots. Still easily the best Studio Trigger show.
Promare - I generally love over the top anime but this was fucking terrible. Like someone screaming in your goddamn ear for 2 hours straight with no break. Kind of solidifies me just not being into Trigger's stuff overall with the sole exception of LWA. Didn't like GL all that much. Couldn't stand any more than a couple of episodes of Darling in the Franxx and Panty and Stocking. I enjoyed the first half of Kill la Kill when it came out, but on rewatch that's not so hot either.
Carole and Tuesday - Finished Part 1 and thought it was decent. Didn't really capture me like I was hoping but that's been the story any time I watch a post-Bebop Wantanabe anime. Really interesting premises but the characters nor the situations they find themselves in are all that interesting.
Attack on Titan - Gave this about 6 episodes back when it came out before falling off because of ALL THE GODDAMN MONOLOGUES. I thought that maybe I was too hard on it but it's even worse than I remember. Seriously these people break out a 30 second monologue/flashback every time something even remotely interesting happens. Up to Episode 10 and the only reason I'm powering through is because it apparently gets amazing after like 40 episodes or something. Seems like the FFXIV of anime.

Finally finished all 101 episodes of Slam Dunk with the missus. She really wants a modern remake for better animated scenes and less drawn out filler/tension. The characters and story are super fun, if a bit contrived. An 8/10 show that I would recommend to nearly anyone.

I just finished Little Witch Academia, as well. I love it. I don't know that I can put it above Gurren Lagann, since it borrows so much from it, but there sure as hell is an argument for it being their best. Due to the cast, there is zero room for Trigger's usual focus on over the top fanservice bullshit, so it stays focused.
When they let the animators flex, whewwwwww. Excited for a new season.
Playing Apex so much has got me rewatching Gun Gale Online (Sword Art Alternative). Laughing hard af at the amount of Third Partying and backstabbing that happens, in the 1st episode. 😂

Also caught the first three episodes of My Hero Academia. All Might is a hero’s hero.
“You too can become a hero”
The very first volume is good and then it's just the same old shonen stuff from there on out. Innovative premise unfulfilled, left to the same old repetitive beats, Japanese school/training shit, and giant cast complete with the asshole rival. I'm sure someone has written out the formula at this point.
Anime adaptation of the first volume is disappointing too because of the grunts, scream crying and bombastic music
All Might is such an interesting character in the first volume, the secret deformed alter ego of an American-style superhero on the decline, and then Hori has no idea what to do from there and just makes him a fucking schoolteacher who pops in every now and then
