Varela just straight up punching the ball as he is lying on the ground lmao. He has been absolutely dog shit. Take him back united
Maguire is a good signing. Although I'm not sure how well he fits in with the high press we're trying to play. He has a lot of qualities, but speed isn't one of them.

Pressed well under Gazza last summer.
Massive head. Good at set pieces. Can play out from the back. Good banter. Better than Jones. Money spent means less in the Glazersā piggybank.

āFranco Baldini was to be sent off to London to use his old connections to get the defender for less than half of his clause. The Italian would charm those in charge at Tottenham, and Roma would be able to sign the defender for a relative pittance.
They didnāt bargain for Daniel Levy, and of course they should have. Sundayās edition of Il Tempo reports the Tottenham chief ādoesnāt move an inchā and has no intention of giving a discount to anyone.
Thereās been a āsharp refusalā from Spurs and itās been made very clear that the only way Roma get Alderweireld is by paying the Ā£25m, not a penny less. Tottenham are said to have āclarifiedā the situation to Roma.ā

I just donāt think Maguire is anything special altogether. And certainly not worth being anywhere near a record signing. But it aināt my money and hopefully he stays healthier than the chuckle brothers

He'll immediately be our best centre back. Think he and Lindelof could strike a good partnership. Both are good on the ball and Lindelof could cover more ground whilst Maguire would deal with the aerial stuff.

I think heās not as good as the money suggests but better than his naysayers suggest. If he wasnāt English, heād cost less and be better rated. Thereās a reason Mou and Pep have liked him.
Will be interesting when the addons are reported as if they are part of an initial "world record fee".

And people laughed at Liverpool for spending Ā£75 million on VvD. Only United could get mugged for Ā£80 million on a shit defender.
Heās not shit heās just not an elite CB and people forget that Unitedās success has been built on elite centre backs. You canāt put a price on it.
By n8 dogg Go To PostFed been better all 4 sets and will still loseFederer hasn't been that great imo. His serving has been quality, but when they start rallying Djokovic has the advantage. Fed has shanked a lot of forehands today.

Except for that rally of 35 hits, that was something else
I still have to get used to this. He was so established at Atleti that it feels unnatural to see him at another team let alone seeing him at Barca.
Slabhead is OK. I'm fine with whatever keeps Jones off the team at this point. Even a Rojo renaissance or Bailly given another chance.
But fuck me, we balked at 65m last time only to come back at 80 next season. We are beyond a joke club.

Basaksehir, number 2 of the Turkish league from last season. First minutes for Promes and Marin at Ajax. Still missing Ziyech, Mazraoui, Tagliafico and Neres though due to the Copa and Africa Cup. So that's 4 of our first team players.

They're absolute filth, especially the first one in the last game
Itās fucking weird how Novak isnāt more loved in the tennis world than he is. Dude is in the running for best player ever.
^ no apparently heās lovely off-court
Itās because of the way Fed and Nadal play in comparison, I think; more attacking, more grace (for Fed), more explosive (Nadal).
Plus thereāll always be a Slavic bias against Djoker, i reckon.
And then he whines that people like Federer and Nadal more and that makes it worse.

Agreed, but that is less fun to watch than Federer going for winners for the purist OR the neutral.
I like Djokovic more than Nadal tho. Hate every fuckin serve Nadalās annoying little quirks
Give me Jo tsonga grand slam
