damn that sucks hard for Klay, what a terrible series for injuries.
By shun Go To PostMan I don't care, just do everything if your power to take care of both of them.Klay will definitely get the max, an ACL is very bad but he will almost certainly be back to 100% other than the slightly increased odds of a re-injury (Adam could write this better)

I tore my ACL playing soccer, and after a minute, got back up and played.
Knee popped right back out.

the play Klay tore it on was not a result of him pushing himself too far on a tight hamstring. it was an awkward landing, could've happened to anyone.

Sure. But all that shit is literally connected at one point or another.
By Smokey Go To PostSure. But all that shit is literally connected at one point or another.
then at what point does playing hurt become unfeasible, if the possibility of further injury under any circumstance is such a concern? Klay was an efficiency god in game 6 until an unfortunate basketball play snatched 6-8 months of his career from him. klay would've finished the game if Kerr didn't pull him immediately. He begged to stay in. so it's questionable how much his hamstring had to do with it.
all these players are playing less than 100 percent in the Finals. it's unfortunate.
Well we about to see what 1st option Curry gonna look like for a whole season. That's tough for Klay.
What a way to send off Oracle , yikes.

on a capped out warriors team missing two of its 3 best players. it'll be ugly unless the Warriors go full scumbag and let KD walk and not offer Klay the max. (and he already was the first option, his and Durant's usage rate were basically identical, with the Warriors winning more when Curry's usage rate is higher and/or durant doesn't play.)

I said I was unbreakable, immune to disappointment after 2016.
This is worse. I'm at work, in tears.
This monkey's paw is too cruel, asking for one more in Oracle.

right. I tried to word it in a way that acknowledged that fact, but basically the Warriors have to choose between the kobe legacy contract(s), or pulling the cold emotion masai 4D chess move.

You take care of them. This is absolutely different situation from the Masai 4D chess.
Fuck ownership forever if they don't even offer it. If they say no, then you move on. But before anything else you give them anything they want.

I mean, is it? it's a choice between the honorable thing, and the logical thing (from a purely basketball op point of view)
By blackace Go To PostThe same ownership that tried to lowball Curry? 🤔Yes.
The same one the kicked out Jerry West.
The same one who got rid of our head medical staff.
The same one with dickhead venture capitalists.
I'm going to put this aside, and believe that they will do the right thing. Fuck them for trying to lowball Curry, but Myers told ownership to shut the fuck up and they did the right thing and took care of him.
Do the right thing and take care of them, you are already moving to a new arena for more fuckboi money. Go do the right thing.

Not offering it at all from the start and having second thoughts was why Kawhi wanted out, and how you got him to begin with. On top of all the injury mismanagement.
You do the right thing, otherwise this becomes another Kawhi situation. You take care of them, both in money and in health.
By shun Go To PostYes.Why? They rolled KD out there knowing damn well he had a high chance to cripple himself and were about to roll Klay back out... Doesn't seem like a group that gives a fuck about much

correction, Klay was about to roll himself back out there. dude is probably still pissed he tore his ACL and wasn't allowed to play more to help his team force game 7, even without him.

he shot his FTs to leave the possibility of him coming back in the game open by NBA rule, was forced out of the game by Kerr immediately after, protested even going back to get evaluated before finally relenting, did everything humanely possible to convince med staff and ownership to let him come back, and they officially shut him down before curry even came back in the game in the 4th.
how is that the Warriors trying to slide Klay back in there?

Be negative, fatalist? We got dealt the worst possible monkey's paw and I'm trying to cope and want them to do the right thing.
By Smokey Go To PostFrom 4 peat in billion dollar gym, to Steph x Draymight be able to talk Boogie on the cheap
yikes
By blackace Go To Postmight be able to talk Boogie on the cheapYeah, i imagine DMC signs a 1+1
By blackace Go To PostShouldn't had even left it open for a return after KD
It would be foolish to shut him down immediately sight unseen without evaluating him first. And more than anything, Klay himself wouldn't have went for it. He shot his FTs and never returned, no further harm or foul.
By s y ngmi Go To PostPolice officer was fucking with Masai, Masai wasn't having it

so that's why masai took a champagne bath quickly after, had to wash off the touch

If Boogie is closer to 75% and Draymond keeps this 3rd option energy, I don't see them falling any further than 5th tbh.

You might be healthy enough to do what you normally expect to do, but that doesn't mean you're going to react to contact and unusual movements the same way.

Any lower body injury is like that. Doesn't have to be the same leg or otherwise localized.
Again, the NFL is a perfect example of a league that is full of doctors that have no issue rationalizing anything to get a player out there.
