Best player in the league, pls.

That isn’t the first time Chelsea have come to Anfield and Hazard was the best player on the pitch.
But it is the first time I’ve seen us absolutely batter them despite that fact. Apart from a 5-10 minute spell where Hazard found the ball in the box twice and was unlucky to hit the bar, Chelsea were abysmal.
They looked clueless, naive, and unsure. You could have mistaken them for Arsenal.

Don't think Hazard would have made a difference no matter where he played; after that 5 minutes where Liverpool switched off, Chelsea didn't have another sniff at goal. Liverpool shut them out once they got their heads back in the game.
I'm really excited about Hazard now, he won't solve all of our problems but I'm sure he's going to be great in a more technical league with better players surrounding him.
The 97 point second place remains in our sights
Hazard will be badly missed in the PL, I shit myself every time he has the ball in our half

By Zabojnik Go To PostHow much for this Skov boy? 30M€ should do it.
It's a damn shame he's attracting so much attention. Would be perfect as our next Danish superstar. It's been a while since we've had the last one.
By batong Go To PostGood win, still, need a slip from City..Happy for you that you won today. Here’s hoping City indeed do slip.

Just witnessed one of most thrilling lower league matches of my life.
Local team that I occasionally DJ during the pre and after match, Lusitânia, is in 2nd place of the regional league and faced Fontinhas, who are first with a 5 point lead.
Strong start for Lusitania with an early goal, not much from Fontinhas in the first half besides some free kicks but the ref was giving out lots of yellows for Lusitânia players mainly.
Right on the start of the second half, Lusitânia makes it 2-0. Fontinhas didn't seem able to construct an offensive move but out of nothing they gained a free kick, I couldn't see anything foul and the play was right in front of my booth.
From the free kick, a Lusitânia player blocks the shot with his arm, penalty and a second yellow.
With 10 men, Lusitânia were quick to respond and managed to hit the crossbar from 5m from the line.
Fontinhas gained another free kick from a handball but it was still far from the box. Yet the ref gave a second yellow for the foul, which it was shocking since he didn't gave a yellow to a Fontinhas player for a handball even closer to the box just 2 minutes before.
Fontinhas cross a long ball from the free kick and they score.
Lusitânia are now with 9 men, drawing 2-2 on a game they need to win to have a shot at getting promotion to the 3rd division.
They create two very dangerous situations but the Fontinhas keeper pulls out two incredible saves.
Lusitânia kept fighting and their striker was fouled inside the box at what seemed the 95th minute.
They score and the place goes absolutely wild.
Getting back into the lead despite being 2 men down against the best team in the league was something incredible.
Last couple of minutes of the game was Fontinhas playing long balls into the box and Lusitânia clearing it.
When the ref blew for the final minutes, the stands went crazy but things were even more crazy on the pitch.
A couple of Fontinhas players went after the ref and tried to hit him but they were stopped by their teammates and Lusitânia's players, a Fontinhas director started a shoving match with one his players, it was insane.
Ref left the pitch with the police and everything calmed down in the pitch but stands were still buzzing.

By Zabojnik Go To PostChiello out for Ajax. In Rugani we trust.do we tho lol
If we lose it won't be down to one player over 90 minutes (+Moggi time) that's for sure
By Ciaran Lannister Go To Postdo we tho lolRuga did very well vs. Ajax, so I guess we have to. No alternatives anyway. Hopefully at least Can and Costa make it.

Frenkie is confirmed to join the team to Italy. Can only hope he's fully fit, there's a cloud of mystery surrounding his fitness right now.
And losing can be up to one player. We got absolutely smashed in Eindhoven early on in the season because De Ligt was out and Ten Hag thought it would be a good idea to have Frenkie in his place as CB. It didn't work out.

One of the finest TV series ever. Don't be discouraged by the first season, it gets much, much better.
