If they don't add independent physicians to make those distinctions after this season then it's an absolute joke. These doctors/physios for the teams are obviously entirely unreliable when making the determination if a player is concussed. There is too much riding on it for them to truly be impartial.
If forced off by the independent doctor, the player should not count as a substitution which would then give the teams no grounds to stand on as far as opposing it.

Imagine Madrids doctor analyzing if Messi can go back to the game
By Xpike Go To Postjust have the teams switch medical staff ezI know you're being sarcastic but UEFA, PL, etc. and the other governing bodies make millions to billions per year. They pay for the independent physicians for all matches.

I expect 3-0 when I get signal again.

I really hate it when we play with two central strikers, our midfield can’t handle it. Either we need to change the shape or introduce Dier or Skipp for Llorente, it’s too easy for Ajax to transition from defense to attack.
We haven’t established any kind of base to build attacks on the ground, just long balls.

Is that a problem?
Would love to know the precise mechanics of the decision to let Vertonghen back onto the pitch. Did the staff just completely lie about it to the UEFA officials, did they lie to Pochettino, do managers pressure them into sending blatantly fucked players back onto the pitch, are the tests so unreliable that they actually thought he was fit to continue?

The best managers are always cunts.

They'll barely be able to stand and their ego and pride will tell them they're fine and good to go

Well certainly. But the fact they are concussed probably isnt helping their thinking either...

Evans admitted that he often plays with niggling injuries with United because he was scared he'd lose his place as a first teamer.
So even if he was technically better than Jones, he's too much of an idiot to be of any good.

Spurs are doing something different this half but I can't quite put my finger on it.
Certainly playing better on the flanks and cutting inside more.

By FootbalIFan Go To PostIt's a joke but you also have to know clubs will teach their players to do their best to fool the physician if that happenedAmerican football has managed to make it work. You don't want your best players off the field in any game so if there is an independent body administering it then I don't think there is much to be concerned about. The positives in the end would far outweigh the one or two times some player managed to somehow take advantage of the system. In American football there are impartial observers constantly looking for signs on the players and then they're forced to undergo tests immediately if they're flagged as a potential concussion candidate.

Three CBs wasn't working at all, Ajax dominated midfield in the first half.
