By Spengo Go To PostI wonder if Leclerc can clinch his first win here.If Vettel keeps Lewis behind him long enough, reds, than pace on yellow should be ok to donthat.
Than again remeber Bahrain

Yeah Lando stopping, gives Albon a place you want from him. Great race pace and racing op reds (more than Gasly showed in 12 ;) ), need to step it up on Mediums, but was stuck in a DRS train for long time, but could not get past Gio.
Max crashing does wonders for the rest of Marko's boys, maybe he should do it more often
wow Gio off was a fast one.

Big clap for Seb. This win would not have happened without him keeping Lewis behind him for those few laps.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostYes, I am so happy right now. Can't wait to hear the anthem. Been so long.once a year, enjoy it ;)
Yeah Mercedes stopping Lewis to late and Lewis error braking before the chicane when hunting Sebas gave Charles the victory, or at least he did not have to defend against Lewis.
And have fun with the NLD

Thanks haha
By Punished Go To PostStopped watching with about 6 laps left, what happened Norris?Engine failure on the final lap.
Live moves on and so does the F1 paddock and we have another race-weekend ahead of us, this time in Monza Italy. After last weekend power demonstration by Ferrari in qualifying, it is logical to expect them to be the favorites again on the temple of speed. Less high speed corners, lower drag cars for everyone and a few slow chicanes makes me think Mercedes will be closer to them than in Spa, cannot see Albon bother them and Max starts from the back (New Honda engine), so only when wet on Sunday.
Only question mark that remains is, the rain. Right now it looks like Friday and Saturday night, so dry race. If that chances I expect Lewis to win it on Sunday.
Track:
Last year:
FP1 - Perez - 1.34.000
FP2 - Vettel - 1.21.105
FP3 - Vettel - 1.20.509
Qualify - Raikkonen - 1.19.119
Race - Hamilton - 1u16min54.484
Fastest Lap - Hamilton - 1.22.497
Tire selection:
Bit biased(that has never stopped me before), but this is the best race iof the year. I feel like this has the best fanbase in formula 1, other countries follow drivers, Italians follow Ferrari. Also, all that speed really seperates the pack.
It is just different Shanks, Silverstone is sold out for 3 days with Brits, can not say that for Monza. Feel it is some what similar to Max support, as the Orange stands out on stands, same with the Ferrari red, do love the podium after the race, definitely best of the year.
Saw the weather and decided to do the important stuff first and just watched FP1 on the DVR, surprised by the amount of running and people going off (couple red flags). Timing screen nonsense, as those first to dry tires ended up on top of timing, but was surprised by the amount of time Vettel lost to Lewis accelerating out of the 1st chicane, was still damp and Lewis on reds vs yellows on Seb, but that difference was almost shocking to see.
Let's see if we get some dry running in FP2 in 30 minutes
Kimi 1st red, Parabolica
Perez 2nd red exit Ascari:
3rd red, Gasly benched on curb:
And spin recovery of the session goes to Valteri:

long runs:
Ferrari's not as far ahead as maybe expected. They lose (thx ;) ) time in S3 and they don't gain to much in S1 (lose in slow chicane). Max was only 1 tenth away from them in S1, be it with skinny rear-wing and time loss in S2, looks better for Spec 4 Honda. Mercedes was trying the tow (for Lewis) and it does look like it is a free 2/3 tenths done this way (about 2 sec gap between them)
Long run Mercedes, just (1 th) ahead of RBR and Ferrari slowest of the three. Still believe Ferrari just have enough for pole, but again Mercedes will challenge them on race pace..........if it is dry on Sunday.
And lando rocking the dr look
