Asume that's gonna cost Max some extra time in pitsstop?
Vettel already 4th and Kevin's race ruined, don't think you can blame Leclerc for that.

By markao Go To PostMax is loving the Ferraris today, think this is Vettels error:]That Redbull has a Ferrari magnet on it.
By Spengo Go To PostHow is Hamilton not falling asleep?there is your answer, its Bono falling a sleep ;)
A race with actual overtakes an on-track battles. Pleasant surprise
Thanks Suzuka
And good podium, Max.

Mercedes dominant and that's another win for Lewis.
Ferrari get's done by Max, although Max couldn't really go any were with Kimi (but Max mistake), Vettel was just unnecessary from Vettel, he should have waited a little if pace was better than the RBR, because action in Spoon on almost equal car isn't going to work.
Perez best of the rest, outsmarted Haas during VSC? , gap was closed all of a sudden en Perez made the nice move. Toror Rosso, Hartley poor start and Gasly (11th) lacked bit of race pace in the end, still need some work and shame Gasly could not just hold of Sainz.
Hamilton thoroughly deserves the fifth but I can’t believe how Vettel pissed away the title so easily.
By Spengo Go To PostDo you have a clip of that? I've looked everywhere for it.what do you mean, the tv shot/replay of this or an interview with Nando?
Expected someone with a bigger budget, but I guess it is good that someone showing the goods in F2 gets a chance in F1.
and not in front but at the back of the grid ;)

All these British rookies. Sky's going to have a field day.
Notice that in his profile pic Ocon is wearing his job-hunting clothes.

Round 18 and we are on the track and in the land of Stars and Stripes, Austin Texas to be more precise for the FORMULA 1 PIRELLI 2018 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX
Track used is the Circuits of the Americas and I think it is a fantastic track to race on, height elevations, fast corner section and a more technical bit in the last sector. Just a shame it is build on a parking lot which always keep the "of/on track" nonsense going. We even have some additional "Verstoppen" curbs on the inside of a high speed corner section to prevent what happened last year, lets hope no one is send flying when something goes wrong ;)
It is a Mercedes or better Lewis track and expect him to dominate again. He does need 8 points more than Sebastian this weekend to clinch the title, so Sebastian needs his team and team-mate to do really well and hope something happens to Lewis. Weather on Friday/Saturday may help, although betting against Lewis when it rains is silly, but the chances something might happen is probably bigger than in the dry.
Feel that Valteri needs a good weekend, he and Kimi haven't won a single race this season and with even both RBR boys winning it is about time (yeah I know Sochi, but he should be able to win more than one in such a dominant car.
And we are in America, so some teams are promoting a healthy live style ;) That's Coca Cola deal for McLaren, at least remainder of the season and a one off for Sean Gelael at TR.
Luckily qualifying starts on a normal time ............... oh wait ;)
Did the organiser by a new track cleaning truck? Been a while since we had a red flag for a bit of gravel on track

By Spengo Go To PostWhen does qualifying start in CET land?23.00 A'dam/Berlin if that's CET ?
And Honda ....
totally done, no extremely old inters ;)
Only few laps in the end on inters, after few did laps on full-wets, same ones as this morning as they do not want to ruin any of them in case they need them tomorrow.
Fp3
Teams focussed on both short and long runs due to the wet weather of yesterday. Not much between the two top teams on short run, long run hard to tell (different compounds). And all the usual suspects from the last few races are battling it out for best of the rest.

Loks like something broke on the rear of Max his car, could well be p15 voor Max, hope they get it fixed :(
He barely touched it. How did that break?
Well, on the bright side he's secured a DOTD, so that's something.

2 Thousands behind your teammate and out for Sainz, Kevin also (few Q sessions in a row he under delivers) and other 3 did not take part.
Wow Lewis in front of both Ferrari's was closer as I expected, Vettel will drop 3 places behind DannyRic (P5), so maybe they can hit eachother tomorrow to keep the RBR/Fer going ;)
and Ocon keep top Q sessions going, now he needs a good race

Jesus, Lewis is unstoppable here. That was good damage limitation from Seb considering the penalty. You do feel Ferrari had a ton of speed in this session so it should be a fun race.
By Kidjr Go To PostLewis has been phenom this year, great lap.Seen him drive since "F3" and he had always something extra but i do not think I have never have seen him as good as this year for an entire season, almost faultless!!!
And full Q results to complete the Saturday.
Mini sector Lewis vs Sebas, Ferrari less drag and faster, so could be interresting for the race, if Kimi gets good start on US.
