I had a dram of Octomore 11.3 last night. Peaty goodness all over the place. Was matured in barrels of Jim Beam, Jack Daniels, and a couple over bourbons.

Speaking of which, I tried that particularly variety of JD this week. The cinnamon is so dominant, wow. Overpowers the whiskey completely, you don't even taste it.

White Claw is way better than Truly. Far, far better. Natty Light Catalina seltzer is also good. Haven't tried any other hard seltzers.

Was my birthday last month.
Treated myself to this little beauty.
Laphroaig is my favorite distillery. II have tried over 30 offerings from them. I have had 25, 27, 28
but
oh boy
What a dram the 30 was. Easily my favorite dram.
So fruity and just the right of peatiness to make it work with the fruit.
Felt bad, as my mate bought me my next dram, but it was just so underwhelming compared to it.
