I'm not one of the owners here so I don't know about any world-conquering plans which may or may not exist. But I've been here long enough to know that this place works precisely because it's not a giant screaming mass anyway. I'm kind of glad we don't have 87-person dogpiles every time DY or Phoenix Rising or whoever says something controversial. We just talk about it for a bit then everyone goes back to making fun of the Knicks.
I get that people want that critical mass to centralize gaming discussion and aggregate news, but I dunno. The flip side is a place where idiotic practices take hold like bans for "port begging" for the sake of social cohesion rather than anything rational.

So yes, it's definitely something they have in mind. They don't want to just clone it exactly as it was.
Of course we'll have to see the forum in use to see how that actually pans out.
If that's the case then I'll gladly take back what I said earlier. From my [limited] perspective there hasn't been a lot of public introspection, but I'm probably expecting too much too soon. I'll give things a chance to settle before making a call.
