By Apollo Go To PostWe can't have sex. In short: Medical reasons.
ok not to pry but that adds a whole other layer to this conversation. If its not about sex then you two should have a strong bond and really enjoy each others company. Because the only reasons to be miserable with someone is sex, money, and children..... maybe if your a masochist
Oh every time we go out it's wonderful. Our bond is strong too.
We're just assholes to each other.
Every time we go out people think we are a married. Last night at the concert this guy asked us and she was like "We're not together" and at the end of the concert he turned around and we were dancing. The guy walked up to her and whispered "You love that guy." Then he told me what he said. She got very quiet.
EDIT:
The funniest thing is both of our best friends are psychologist and they both gave us the same advice. Pretty much we're both damaged people and we need each other. So we should just start officially dating.

Everyone is. But some like thinking they are more than others. Is the thought of not being damaged appealing to you? I think it should be. You go from one extreme to another in a matter of a couple hours, saying you want to end it, and then you belong together.
By butt Go To PostChaos is shit. Keep it out of your life.I mean its fun, I get it... but when you tie yourself up in it, you really end up stagnating. You can't grow in chaos. At least not in healthy ways. You'll just learn how to survive for just that type of bullshit.
Its fun though. Just gotta keep that shit as a known temporary, knowing when you gotta leave the theme park.
By DY_nasty Go To PostYou love this bullshit lol
Itd make a decent book. I'd have to be in the mood for it though.
Everyone tells me I need to write about my love life.

Yup, as DY and I have been saying, you like the story better than the actors in it. People shouldn't encourage such a tendency. You strive off the drama and the storytelling. There are some details that could be interesting (how health relates to it, but you don't say anything, you probably have your reasons), but the whole "we hang out a lot but don't share our feelings or commit" is pretty much what every teenager with a crush goes through in high school.
By PSYCH! Go To Postfeeling really burnt out these daysIt gets better man, trust me. I have WOAT luck, and I'm just stubborn as I need to be to make chickens out of chicken shit regularly enough to brag about it.

I'm talking about professors and intellectual types are telling me to do it.
I got offered a raise and solid compensation package at work. I'm taking a couple of days to review things and negotiate the salary a little higher. Anyone got advice? They do all of their hiring through email and I didn't have anything but an informal interview with my direct supervisor who has no control over these things.
By db Go To PostThey've already made that movie a ton of times.
You don't know the whole story bro.

I dunno, I like change too much. I'm always up for new life-altering decisions.

I've got a cognitive assessment due by end of Monday. What's a good way to prepare and or possibly cheat for the cognitive assessment. Messed around and connected to the senior manager at Accenture. What's a good way to capitalize off this?
About 90% done moving into my new place.
Cat next door likes me. Brought a dead bird to my door step as a house warming gift. I'm relieved that I'm cultured enough to understand this gift and appreciate the spirit in which it was given.

You moved again? Are you leaving the spot you came into once you gave your original roommates the bird?
By Smokey Go To PostYou moved again? Are you leaving the spot you came into once you gave your original roommates the bird?yeah, i actually shacked up with an old friend from texas that happened to get stationed out here. so i was on base for about 3 months. nice, but too much military made it hard to breath lol
i'm out in wahiawa now. probably gonna move again in a few months though. if i land this chinese school then i'll be in cali for 18 months or so
Welp I got accepted into a MPA program. This would be my second masters degree........ Cause the first time apparently wasn't enough
The only good thing is the majority of my coworkers have MPA or a MSW so its the norm in my field. My first master's was as much abut fixing my shitty undergraduate gpa as anything else.

I'm in an MPH program and I hate life. This would be degree number 5 and quite frankly wish I was in an MPA program. MPA programs sound fun.

Is anyone else as deeply offended by Spike's Chi-raq movie as I am? As a native Ohioan that hits a wee bit close to home and not in a good way.

a MPH is a masters in public health right? That's like medical training on top of the stuff you could learn from a MPA? If so yeah that has to be tough as hell
Also I haven't watched a spike film since miracle of St Anne (which would of been a much....MUCH better film if he had shown the bank shooting again after explaining why it happened)
Spike kind of fell off, I think St Anne was a dud and he's been struggling to get legit funding ever since. So all he does is these lower budget projects that stink of voyeurism.
I've been thinking about going to try and get my master's in creative writing. The only problem is I didn't major in English so I would have to take some classes before applying.

I want to finish my degree in communications because of work butttttt i'm thinking of doing the same
I am finally leaving my assignment of 3 years. My new assignment will be in High Performance Computing.
I posted about my relationship with my sup some time ago. Now i get a fresh start in a really interesting field. I was told this is a longer assignment. Like 5 years min and it takes about 1.5-2 to even fully grasp everything. Its a pretty complex role. Almost sounds like it's engineering but i dont know for sure yet.
I will give him props for sending me to a good aasignment. He could have easily sent me to the depths of hell but he didnt. For that i will hold a bit of appreciation for him.

I'm retired from that form of HPC
This role heavily relies on Linux which...I've never had any hands on experience with.

I have no idea what I should do with my facial hair.
This is me (good work forgetting to straighten my tie, I know):
Thoughts on what style I should go for with my facial hair?

Got the perfect hair for one of those undercuts I see dudes sporting.
I know you asked about facial hair but consider what I'm saying about your head hair too.
