Lower the interest, favor keeping the debt (and investing). Higher the interest, favor paying it off.
But yeah, if you're around 6, market might make you 10, but market returns aren't guaranteed and peace of mind is real. Just knowing you're out from under it can be nice.
Don't attempt to do a qualification exam when you are already burnt out and need a break.
That's my takeaway from the last 10 days.

The many that have migrated to places and try to take on ice and snow is pretty fuckin' scary for the rest of us too.

Why are good knives so expensive? Ordered three Global knives and it was still nearly $200 after being marked down 40%. D:

That’s a good deal. If I didn’t already have the chefs knife I would pull trigger. I like global. The SS they use holds and edge well, they’re nice to hold and easy to clean because the shaft and blade blend together and lack a sharp edge. Get yourself some good stones and that’s all the knives you’ll need for a decade. I need to get a good boning knife for fish.
By Not Go To PostTokyo kinda sucks. Cool Gundam though. I've been in Kyoto for an hour and I'm already more at easeOh boy.
I went to Tokyo twice. Once near the end of spring and the other around December for my honeymoon.
The December honeymoon wasn't fun. It was so crowded everywhere, which didnt help my wife, who can't handle crowds. Thankfully I remembered some good spots so it wasnt entirely a bad time.
Now we make a point to only go on trips when it's not close to a festive season or holiday.
I used to think we didn’t associate with our moms side of the family cause her and her sister thought they were too good for them.
As I have gotten older, I realize now it’s cause most of the cousins/uncles/brothers been in/out of jail their whole lives from hustling or the rolling stone type. Kinda sucks to meet a lot of these folks on the last stage of their lives as they try to make some sort of amends with my mom/aunt.

There's just too many fuckin' people on the internet trying to justify the worst/scust/disturbing shit sometimes. I'm not surprised, not shocked, not even upset but there are times when I hit lowkey disgust levels about how folks trying to justify disturbing shit and need a break. I don't care the reasons anymore. If you're looking for something specific Drake is being an ultra creep with girls again. GIRLS. He's 33. There is no fucking excuse for him to be in the DMs or text messages of people under the age of 18, if i were honest even people under 25 is like why. If you got someone in your circle (I don't Im just seeing it on the internet) trying to rationalize that shit you best believe I will think you're scust too. I can barely be around people under 25 and this clown is texting 14-17 yr olds. He's fucking disgusting.

By Apollo Go To PostI know a few older people from Japan and they all say Osaka is the best place to liveMost the foreign people I know who are from Osaka are bums who fear other foreigners but Osaka is pretty nice
Here's something funny. I followed this older Japanese photographer because I know his niece. He owns a gallery and some bars. We started talking a lot about art and photography. I now have an old Japanese friend and he said when I visit Japan I can drink for free at his place.
random question but I'm curious you ever met someone you were sure was just gonna do some heinous shit down the line?
I'm good. I was just curious. I was just thinking towards the past today after reading some grim stuff. Haven't read about the people in the news or anything but I was just reflecting.
Moving out proper by myself next year. Absolutely by myself.
What should I be looking at buying on Cyber Monday for the move? Already have a blender and a crock pot, plates and cups.

I remember my first tripe to target getting cleaning stuff and toiletries of my own. /memories
Nice bathroom stuff. I'd wait until you get in the bathroom to see what it looks like though for colors and all that.
By DY_nasty Go To PostCleaning suppliesYup. Especially a Roomba or similar if you hate vacuuming. Just clean the robot after every use and it will last you a long, long time and do a good enough job that no one will complain.
e: a hand-vac is also a good idea to get clean hard to reach places; soft scrub is mandatory

So speaking of home supplies, my shower drain was draining way too slow. It happens when you live with a woman with long hair from time to time.
I took off the front of the overflow to the bath, and sent a hand snake down the drain to get the hair out (I recommend a hand snake for any owner 100%). Sent it couple feet hit the clog, twisted and pulled and pushed a couple times and then pulled out the clog.
Frist came the hair clog, then came a 6' long peace of semi thick fabric that had hair, shower goop and just general years of nastiness left behind from the previous home owner. Smelled soooo fucking bad.
On the plus side … my shower drains better than it has since I've owned the place.

By data Go To PostAre roombas good for apartments? I've thought about one, but I've always been kind of skepticalWhy wouldn't they be? It works to pick up trash on both carpet and hard flooring. Just park the unit under a one of those decorative stands or in the corner or something so it stays out the way when not in use.
e: also, consistently using a roomba will force you to not leave random shit lying everywhere since it can get caught on thin cords and other thin materials
