American cops are trained to shoot to kill and they inherently fear black people, it's an untenable situation that will eventually boil over in riots, police shootings by civilians or nationwide boycotts.
I'd be willing to do life in prison or die if anything happened to someone I love where the cop doesn't go to prison. Don't shoot any of my unarmed relatives.

i remember being patted down outside of a kmart when i was 13. cop pulled me to the side when my dad wasn't looking as we were taking the things we bought back to our truck. he knew plain as day that my dad had the receipt but he just wanted to fuck my day up and feel big. i remember in high school the rent a cops would go so far over the damn top to beat the shit out of us like they were prison wardens lol... i remember leaving an ihop with my friends after playing ball all night - and these cops tailed us 4 miles over nothing. another time i watched my friend drop me off at my apartment, then a cop approaches him gun drawn for no reason other than to wake up everyone in the complex and make a scene
i am tired lmao. fuck living in a cheaper area to save money. not worth it

I figured it out on my own around 10-11. My friends and I used to go to the park to play basketball, but it was in a white neighborhood since it was the only court near our side of town. We lived in a predominantly white town, but almost everyone that was black lived on the same 2-3 blocks as me. It would be like 20 of us and we'd play from sun up to sun down, almost everyone on the courts was black while the rest of the park and playground was white kids or white people playing tennis. Sometimes we'd have white people try and get us to leave the court so their kids could play, but we'd just say they could get next or play with us, nah the parents wanted us to leave. Towards the middle of summer one year, they installed fucking removable hoops on the backboards....so some days the hoops were up, and when they took the hoops down they'd have the cops there like we were gonna do anything as a group of 10-13 year olds. Then, they just outright removed the baskets altogether and it was just an empty area with asphalt. One of the white kids we'd play with brought his portable hoop there once since he lived close to the park, the people in the area called the cops and they threatened to arrest us for trespassing on a public area.
Instead of arguing or anything, like 2 weeks later we got some portable hoops and put them on a dead end on our block. The cops tried to bother us saying we'd disrupt traffic on a dead end but the people in our neighborhood told them to beat it, and let us put the hoops in their driveways so they are on private property and we could play from 1 side of the street to the other. They chased us from the park, then didn't even want us to play on our own street, if it weren't for the people in the community they would have hassled us non-stop and probably confiscated the hoops. Later, at a meeting they said they didn't want bad people from the Bronx or Mount Vernon at the park....Mount Vernon is 60% black.
I was handcuffed at 10 for walking while black... I fit the description of a 6'3 black male in his late 20s.. in Seattle which is pretty tame compared to most of America
