The video she filmed with my friends product is going to be a promo for his company, and will be on her site. Said she asked for a media guide on what he wants her to say to the media etc

Said all 3 (porn star, he, and his wife) all clicked immediately from the start and she def hooked up him with some good opportunities.

They offered my wife the job she didn't want. Someone else was more qualified for the job she actually wanted. Still gets benefits, paid days off, holiday pay, but the actual pay is *HALF* of what I make per year.

I'm dealing with the ramifications of 12 years of collegiate enrollment at the moment despite sky high stunting level GPAs. Hopefully, someone will let me be great. Im frustrated. Very furstrated. Turned out the job is not what I imagined it to be. I wanted to be a texter. They looked for a translater. My Chinese is good but since Im in Germany I just cannot bring it to professional level.

It was a great talk until she asked me to translate 2 texts. One from Chinese to German. One from German to Chinese.

I finished the one from Chinese to German in time. The other one I shall do at home and send it to her via email.

Im sure that will be a pointless work in the end. The vacancy I signed up for mentioned the role of a texter. I can write, I'm doing this for 10 years for my page but that was irrelvant. She asked me if I wanted to improve my Chinese once I get there.

I said of course. But I dont think she will get back to me.

I prepared a shitton of speaches but she mostly didnt engage into the talk, didnt seem motivated to it and when i said something, she interrupted me. She basically just talked a lil until she gave me that translation work.

I dont know. Not what I signed up for. I would still do it considering my situation but I doubt they will get back to me.

As I predicted, spring(ish) would yield more eligible homes than what was available to us in the fall. Gonna drive two hours to the agency tomorrow to drop $500 to secure and take a house off the market. 5 bd, 2bath 2,100 sq ft for $1,500 rent. Pets allowed.

Okay. What a turn of events. Apparently the office in Beijing wants me after my half assed translations.

Now they asked me if I can work in the Düsseldorf office before the transfer happens.

They call it an internship.

My house is 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, 2000 square feet, renovated kitchen, decent neighborhood...

My mortgage payment is $1200. One of the best parts about living here.

I'm not willing to leave California at pretty much any cost.

Something else developed though. I discovered that I am estranged from BOTH my fathers, biological and step-father (who married my mom before I turned 1 and raised me as his own). My bio-dad...w/e. Don't care about that.

In September 2014-ish, I made a FB post concerning an article discussing modern fatherhood and how dads are less about machismo and more about being emotionally connected with their loved ones. I talked about how I remember my dad's issues with anger, and how that impacted the troubles in my marriage. My lil' (half)bro, who isn't even active on FB saw it, and defended dad pretty aggressively...all on FB. Soooo I have not seen my parents since 2011. I have called my dad but he never answers. I'm sure I have not spoken to him on the phone for about 6 months. I texted my bro to ask if dad hadn't changed his number because he doesn't return my calls even though I always leave a voicemail. I found out that my bro READ my FB to my father over the phone (he does not have a FB), and that might be why he won't talk to me.

If that is the case, then he validated my post concerning his anger. 50-something year-old man-child. Whatta baby.

Meanwhile, my mom still calls (they are still married, 31 years, living in the same house, etc) acting like nothing is going on like "that's just how your father is." Yes, mom, he certainly is. (and you are in denial.).

Why people gotta be such punks? If you have a problem with what I wrote, then talk to me, and don't hide behind your son and your wife (my mother and brother) for the past FIVE MONTHS.

I have not even gotten around to processing the fact that my bro read the post to him. For a split second, I considered snail-mailing a letter to my dad like "Y U MAD, DAD?" but this is real life, not a game or the internet.

I found my FB post. I'm installing it in my topic on writing, because it was actually a two-part status update.

Meanwhile, my wife is freaking out. *HER* family is super-close, super-tight and they're always calling and talking to each other. When we met, I told her that my family is isolationist, keep-to-yourself kind of people, and super-secretive. Ten years later, she still can't comprehend it. She pitys me. I pity the fact that only one set of my children's grandparents care to have a relationship with them rather than going on cruises every three months.

Rarely do I read books that I don't think are BS when it comes to something remotely like self-help. When I was in (marital) counseling, dude suggested this book called Healing the Wounds of Sexual addiction. Dude kept pressing like I was abused or something and I'm like NAW BRUH, but I didn't realize that isolation is a kind of...disowning? Denial of affection? Well, I became the "Lone wolf" archetype of the family, preferring to play video games on the computer while the rest of the fam watched movies and shows like 3rd Rock from the Sun, X-Files, and 24.

Seems like it's still applicable even in my adult life.
