Fucking glad my family bounced before I entered the school system there. The atmosphere was so damn tense the whole night.

It was BYOB, the group I went with brought more beer than was there when we showed. Friend went to grab a bottle of what someone else brought and some chick flipped her shit. Could not be calmed, way too fucking old to be pulling that shit, even brought her boyfriend over for who the fuck knows why, poor dude looked at her like 'why you doing this' I swear she's gonna get him stomped the fuck out sooner than later.

If she was a dude she would have been a portrait on a RIP T-shirt years ago.

That's some shit. I'm glad none of my friends are stingy pricks about alcohol at parties. In fact, they offer whatever is available. If it's a group I don't know, I usually ask, but I have never encountered someone getting mad. It's completely counter to a good party.

I don't know the last time someone went to a party and tried to take someone elses beer. Everyone I know brings much more than they can consume.

I mean. We're all adults and shit.

haha I sent a text like that as recently as two weeks ago. but she was the girl who made me realize it's usually never a good idea. since then I've been on a roll with not giving a fuck and not making it obvious I would sleep with any hot girl I talk to. that realization has also helped me strengthen friendships with a couple females who I previously only wanted to bang, and now I can honestly say I don't want to bang them. So that's good.

Didn't get my 10% raise. (I did beat inflation by 0.5%, loool). I'm fucking done. What a fucking moron I was, working past midnight on the regular for this company.

Attended the clean air rally with my lobbying group. It's not directly related, but there were plenty of people interested in clean air who were also interested in climate change (and our carbon tax proposal helps with both) and we got a lot of people on our mailing list. Got a letter about climate change published in the Desert News on Sunday. We had an event at the Clark Planetarium a few days which went pretty good: I'll have to do a better job advertising the second event, but that's happening. Got two UoU students interested in CCL to where they're going to attend our meeting. Did a statistical project on OREB% that I hope I make into an article I publish on Salt City Hoops. Not an unproductive week.

I'm the head editor and Twitter person now for CCL SLC. I'm good at being an editor, but I have no idea how to build followers for a professional thing on Twitter :/

I should do some statistical regressions about the Utah environment too...

The cutest girl I've seen at the U is in one of my classes this year and she's a math+econ major and she likes basketball. I better not miss this opportunity...

A good way to get followers is to follow people interested/involved in your movement.

I need to redo a ton of portfolio related stuff to get back into the design market with my head high but getting motivated, especially after I keep getting sick, ugh.

100 followers on Twitter is like 50 more than I ever expected. FB makes sense to me. If I want to dote on my wife's accomplishments or show off my kids, I can do so and in more than 150 characters.

I've seen some strange experiments on Twitter. People citing entire epic Poems like The Odyssey or Paradise Lost in their entirety on Twitter.

I log on and despite following about 300 people/things, it just doesn't excite me. Unlike FB I don't understand Twitter.


Wife had her 2nd interview at her job today. if she gets it, we're moving to Southgate, where a lot of people like to pretend like they live in Detroit when it's a suburb. If she doesn't get it, we might be moving back to Lansing in September.

Got two people from our team in south america in town for two weeks. They are from Buenos Aires. It's really interesting hearing them talk about America. One was tallking how we have such a good country. They were mind blown at the cars. Mind you these aren't anything top end or anything. They mentioned cars like Civics over there are a big deal. A BMW is like bow down and shit. We went to lunch and I drove them, and they kept talking about my car and how everything is so much cheaper here. I kind of felt bad tbh and shit made me think later in the day. Felt more appreciative. Levis cost like $200 over there. They plan to hit the malls up while here and just rain money in clothes. It's really interesting hearing about your own country from a outsider. They went to rockets game yesterday and were hyped af telling me about it today.
