Maybe you're better off going into NG+ and rushing to the DLC (after Amelia) if you feel like you're overleveled and want a bit of challenge
tbh I can't quite remember the min-max level requirement but I'm reading that 70-80 is best for NG. (the meta for PVP is 100-120, it got me through NG+ and NG++)

did you reach the first boss? He's not so easy without summons so that will be the real test for your level
there's a DLC rune that literally turns you into a werewolf btw :o and another rune that turns you into a kin/alien. Man, the DLC weapons were fucking ACE :lol make sure you get the OVERPOWERED Whirligig Saw too, it's in that area! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOGO5Y3dM2k

(the meta for PVP is 100-120, it got me through NG+ and NG++)Just beat him, I wish I didn't have summons with me because I wasn't expecting a boss fight, I was recollecting my echoes from those two giant bros so I just happened to be rolling with 2 goons. Probably shouldn't have used fire paper either, way too easy......I remember when Boss fights were intimidating! I also have a bad habit of skipping cutscenes but I usually watch the fight on youtube later to see if I missed anything special.

I've got the beast cutter, amyglada arm,beast saif, boom hammer & the saw thing so far.

Yeah summons trivialize most fights! I never ever summon on my first run, because it robs of that patented adrenaline high once you beat them.

This was my issue. I beat the game and loved it, but wow were those first three bosses a pain in the ass.
EDIT: Did SLAENT have like a BB LTP party or something?

Neither was I lol. I had no idea that shit happened. I turned that off so fast. It doesn't happen until closer to endgame.
I absolutely love the PVP in these games, the rush when you duel a player is comparable to bosses to me!

I honestly don't remember as it was a year ago I think. Thought Ludwig sounds familier and the youtube looks familiar as well. I just remember beating every NG boss and then wanting to toss my controller at the TV for an expansion boss and said fucks it lol

Learning to parry him with your pistol and staggering him to get a few clean hits in will do the trick. It's pretty elemental to how to approach bosses more so than your average enemy.

and the Chalice Dungeons if you're truly desperate for more content. They have quite a few unique bosses, and you get to fight Yharnam, the woman in the white dress

Beat Orphan of Kos on my second try, that was pretty intense, I ran out of all 24 blood vials lmao. His first form was tougher than his second.

I didn't discover that until after I killed him which leads....to an interesting ending to that quest.
Yeah I missed an entire area. I have the shortcut to Father G from the Central Yharnam lamp where you go through the gate in the left, fight two Brick trolls, take elevator down, cross bridge with troll that rolls the burn in Boulder, and then up stairs to Father G .
