By JesalR Go To PostFirst time I've been able to play between work and other things in the past 3 or so weeks. Got to One Reborn and killed in first time. Went to nightmare frontier, killed Amygdala first time too. Went to Upper Cathedral, died, gave up for the night.what an epic run lool
Don't leave Upper till you kill the 2nd hidden boss!

I didn't make it to the lantern because I got cocky. Might go for the hunter in the Grand Cathedral first. I feel like I'm fairly close to the end now. Picked up some really bad habits though, I kind of just assume I can beat anybody.
By Yurt Go To Postif this isn't the greatest Bloodborne themed Lego and Yurt wallpaper then I don't know what isTrue love.
I'm watching the Super Best Friends play-through of this. So fucking frustrating.
I'm one of you now.
So I haven't had much chance to play cause of work but I have gotten up to the Forbidden Woods and now there are dudes with fucking snakes for a head. NOPE
By Lego Go To PostTrue love.and one of our finest

I have to prepare myself mentally, those two hunters in the grand cathedral. One with the electric pogo stick the other with a normal one, I'm not actually meant to fight those am I?
By Kidjr Go To PostI have to prepare myself mentally, those two hunters in the grand cathedral. One with the electric pogo stick the other with a normal one, I'm not actually meant to fight those am I?You're! And they're pushovers, no worries. You could jump off one of the ledges and sneak up behind one of them for a free Visceral Attack
but you aren't meant to go there yet I think
By Lego Go To PostThe Witcher 3 or DS? Hmm. My PC is half dead, too.definitely Dark Souls, but don't tell L1NETT I told you that
Beat Amygdala first time
Don't know where I'm supposed to go to advance, so guess I'll try Nightmare of Memphis aka Martin Skrtel next

Intrigued by the locked door behind the giants near Cathedral Ward, and the one at the top of the circular tower. Guessing the door in Hunter's Dream is unlocked in the course of the story
By Hitch Go To PostGonna go Cainhurst, dunno how to get to Upper Cathedralthat's the Orphanage! You'll find the key in the Unseen Village inside a locked a cell

Alfred's quest line is fucking brilliant ahahaha
Go back to his very first place to conclude it

Sure enough this was the case.

Alfred's rune seems shit
Cainhurst is brilliant, reminds me of the Painted World mixed with the Duke's Archives, and a bit of Castlevania thrown in. I ignored the enemies with bloodsacks hanging from them, they were merking me

remember the laser stairs? (the one before the 2nd lantern)
there's a ledge on that area, to the right, drop down there and it'll lead you to that cell.
yeah Cainhurst was definitely one of my favourite areas. The bloody-walking-sacks are actually not that hard to kill, all you have to do it side step their hits and attack them from behind
Cainhurst is great. Logarius is great too.
Started NG+ properly today (third playthrough tho). Gazza and CB down first time. Just beat BLB in the lower pthumeru too.

can't wait to co-op with you in the Defiled Chalice of AIDS :o
My game just glitched vs that Woman/Wolf boss.
Got disconnected at the start of the fight. Loaded it again and the boss just stood there. No health bar but I killed it lol.

Been putting my souls into Skill/Vit/End based on Yurt's guidance. Working out well with the Cane and Axe.

you don't need much End in this game so don't put too much points into it
By Yurt Go To PostAxe is a strength weapon, toss it :pPutting the majority into Skill. Haven't even touched Blood or Arcane (?) at all.

I've seen a video of some guy losing and being taken to a jail in the "Unseen Village"(?), but I think ive passed the area he lost in. Have I missed out?

no that's after you kill Amelia!
get rekt by the tall guy with the sack outside the Cathedral Ward
I've never done anything chalice dungeon related. Do I lose the opportunity to do all of that if I finish the game?
By JesalR Go To PostI've never done anything chalice dungeon related. Do I lose the opportunity to do all of that if I finish the game?No you don't, BUT
the very last Chalice requires some material from the campaign. In Nightmare of Mensis
By Yurt Go To PostNo you don't, BUTCheers, will keep a look out for it.

Do I need to unlock the dungeons before the endgame? I realised I really have no idea how any of that works.
By JesalR Go To PostCheers, will keep a look out for it.Nah you don't, most of the dungeons are completely separate from the main game. There are a few though that tie into the game's lore if you're interested in that.

Bruv you can do that even before Amelia
That's why I was confused when everyone was saying Paleblood sky note meant the white moon when a) you can see it when the red moon is out and b) you can also see it when the sun is out lol
By nate Go To PostBruv you can do that even before Ameliaoooooh right, my bad!

By Yurt Go To Postoooooh right, my bad!But I killed them all (cuz i'm good innit) and i'm now walking around in some woods. I have no idea if i'm going to the right areas but it's all good so far.

I went back to the main cathedral and saw that Brit crow lady. then helped her kill some hunter..

AND YESSSSS you helped Eileennnnn, she's easy to miss thank God you found her
By Yurt Go To Postyou'll go there in due time anyway, no worries. There was a cave I walked through before getting to the woods (think there are 2 ways to get to the woods), but then went back to fight the boss in the church.

By Lego Go To PostWhere's my damn DLC?!From is waiting for you to finish the Chalice dungeons first m8
By Yurt Go To Postnext to the dogs in cages?I found it. There are 2/3 ways you can go from the grand cathedral.
Cave leading to the woods is on the right.
I went left and Tried opening a door that was locked and then the spider boss (amygdala?) grabbed me and now I'm in some library.
After fighting the boss in the grand cathedral, which area should I go to next?
By Hitch Go To PostHow much longer have I got after Upper Cathedral Ward?I think you have two or three more compulsory bosses, 2 more that you absolutely need to do for a good ending, and a few couple of optional ones too (possibly).
Wanna get it done in time for TW3
