By Kuma Go To PostY'all better go see Dope!Saw it, was pretty good. Some stuff was ehhh but overall it was a fun movie.
Mad Max was great, but doesn't deserve that 98% its getting in rotten tomotoes.
its one of those movies where its an instant classic and where you can keep watching it over and over again without getting sick of it.
But on the other hand, the movie lacked tension and suspense.
and the third act was very thin,
its like George Miller and the writers blew all of their load in the first two acts and the third act felt more like an afterthought.
besides that though, definitely my favorite movie in a while.

Really? I strongly disagree. I thought the film started out at around 8/9 out of 10 on the intensity meter. I thought there was no way in hell this film can get ANY crazier/intense than the first two thirds, I literally thought it was impossible, so when the decided to head back to the city I wasnt expecting much until I saw the guys on the fucking pogo stick things... I almost died, I feel it's pretty close to being the perfect film.
Sure I'm there a flaws but the overall delivery and execution makes me forget any flaws it has. Similar to Casino Royal (which is one of my favourite films of all time), just amazingly executed.
Ant-Man is very good. It's geeky and trippy and funny and singular in all the ways that I wanted it to be. No complaints at all.

Don't forget that it only means that 98% of the reviews are a 6 and above. Which means there are some heathens out there giving this movie below a 6.
Oh and Inside Out is quite possibly my MOTY already. I don't think there are many movies that can top that for me. What a film.
Fuck Ted 2, it was 111 minutes and was at best a 22 minute ep of the Family Guy worth of laughing after you get through the first half of the movie
5.5/10

I don't really like Marvel movies, but I really dug Ant Man. It's really funny and just a lot of fun.
I see you heathens still haven't accepted fury road as your Lord and savior.
Blu-ray September 1st, there's still time to repent.

Fury Road should be watched in theaters.

What if I don't own a theater? Will a TV in my bedroom suffice?

No. Just buy a theater man.
Kingsman had one good scene. Fury Road was one good movie.
I was telling a friend about Fury Road a few weeks ago and it came up how what prompted me to see it was that some MRA's were fuming over it. The movie conversation screeched to a halt because I had to explain what the fuck an MRA was and how the hell they even exist.

Fury Road is definitely a good movie.
Kingsman might be most entertaining spy movie since I don't know when.

I liked Kingsman until the final third of the movie. Ended up more Bond than Spy kids, but it still felt half realized. never seen a supporting character as underutilized as the girl spy whatsherface. straight up sent that girl into space to be forgotten.
By Baconsaurus Go To PostFurry Road > KingsmanI agree with Bacon.
haven't seen Spy yet.
Ex Machina is my favourite film of the year so far.
Both on Furry Road and on Ex Machina.
By rodeoclown Go To PostI saw the first Divergent in a theater on a date. One of my least favorite movie experiences ever. Its so bad that its just perplexing. How can it exist?
By Linius Go To PostWhy would you even put yourself trough something like Insurgent? One can only understand enlightenment after true suffering.
By DY_nasty Go To PostIts so bad that its just perplexing. How can it exist?I think they were trying to capitalize on the success of The Hunger Games. But they missed the part where those movies are generally pretty good.
I really hated Divergent. They took some of The Hunger Games things, like how everyone has weird names and it's some kind of post-apocalypse, but it does nothing well. It's not well acted, it looks bad, it's lazy, It's insulting to your intelligence at times, it's just awful.
Man, watched Birdman again. Casting is so perfect.
So fucking good, i m gonna go ahead and watch the rest if movies by Innaritu.

By psychintellect Go To PostJust watched Birdman, that was GREAT
Just saw it tonight. Was really gud.
Watched Child 44 yesterday and thought it was okay. Too many storylines in the movie though and not all of them worked out well. The Russian accents were pretty bad though.
By Prototype Viktor Go To PostI just realize, they were really horrible cops in Bad Boys.
Wait until you see Lethal Weapon.

Watched Cop Car, it was decent. Bonus points for having Kevin Bacon with a bad ass mustache, you can never have too much Bacon in your life.
By JayEleven Go To PostWait until you see Lethal Weapon.i am never rewatching those
My most anticipated movie this year was Dragon Ball Resurrection of F
Fucking lived up to my hype. Was great.
