Why was the ref actively diminishing the possibility of a fight breaking out by constantly seperating them?
You lot are wrong, I'm sorry, Joshua is a better jabber, counter puncher and at that weight he was tonight he does exactly the same thing to wilder he does to Parker except he gets a KO.
Wilder doesn't out box Joshua so goes looking for the KO and leaves himself open.

Joshua looked thoroughly unimpressive tonight, and his body language before the scorecards were read showed that he knew it.

Fight ends and he's looking disappointed like: "What the fuck just happened? It wasn't supposed to be that hard."
Scorecards get read and suddenly he's all: "THIS IS WHAT I DO INNIT?! I'M A BEAST!!! WILDER WHERE YOU AT BRUV????"
Stop it.

Seeing as you asked:
1) biggest take away was his feet, Joshua finally learned how to use his feet. Its been provably his weakest asset in his professional career. From the basics such making himself a smaller target, to stepping to the outside anytime he wanted to have a go, understanding range and being in a position to counter. Once Joshua got the grasp of his his reach Parker speed counted for nothing. He didn't need to go chasing Parker cutting the ring off etc and had pretty much had him where Joshua wanted from rounds 3/4 onwards and this is probably the quickest top 10 heavy weight.
2)i get you wanted a tear up but why take the risk if you can jab your way through, the onus was on Parker to force the issue and he couldn't. I will admit he was very risk adverse and light on combination but fuck has his already decent jab improved considerably.
3) counter puncher... This is probably the biggest contributory reason why I don't think wilder can win. I think aj is the best counter punching heavy weight. He understands...when I see a Jab coming.. I need to Left hook etc. Its instinctive for him he didn't always connect flush in the Parker fight because Parker reflexes were terrifically quick but he caught him enough times to let me know that after wilder got tired of being do it box and went looking for the haymaker he'd get caught cold.
The numbers don't lie:
Joshua out jabbed Parker 93-49 despite throwing 46 fewer jabs
So say you didn't enjoy the fight because it wasnt as entertaining or maybe didn't even get why it was scored that way but to question what he actually did that fight is just off. He did alot more than Parker therefore he won the fight fairly easily.

and like i was saying, through 4 parker was way more active from outside... smaller fighter who isn't allowed to fight in inside at all and has his rhythm constantly disrupted is gonna be fighting uphill way more than he should've had to
i'm not gonna say AJ sucks or that he would've lost or anything like that. he won the fight and was my favorite going into it as well
but i'm not gonna say it was impressive, elevated his status, or even that he didn't benefit from the refereeing in a way that would've made even mayweather feel dirty

Ill agree it wasn't his greatest showing but dude literally asked what did he do...
Look man he's got to find a better medium between being risk adverse and letting his hands go. He maybe showed Parker too much respect but hey I can forgive that, get the belt first worry about the show later.

By Kidjr Go To PostThe numbers don't lie:numbers lie, they are never that accurate. aj barely did more than parker and the ref helped him in round 6 after a combination by parker.

One of those uppercuts from AJ looked dirty af
Couldn't say too much on it at the time but with the way the ref was breaking things up I would've understood if Parker's corner protested.

By Kidjr Go To PostI didn't catch this fight but was it a good night of boxing?Hurd vs Lara was awesome, close fight but hurd is just too big.
Former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury will return to boxing on 9 June against an unnamed opponent in Manchester - his first fight since 2015.
Joshua and his camp are scared as fuck. First this dude can’t leave the country to fight and now they offering Wilder $12.5m.

I'm not the biggest AJ fan. But he's the guy. He's the one with all the belts, selling out stadiums. Wilder cant sell out his high school gym. Thats more money than he's made in his entire career. AJ could fight David Price in his next fight and make more than Wilder will make in his next 10. Wilder NEEDS the fight.
That's an offer you make when you want to insult a guy into not fighting you. Like come on a $100M+ fight and you offer the man $12.5M? That's disgusting.
I'm not a "fan" of either guy myself. The facts are just the facts. You don't do a take it or leave it offer of 12.5% of the potential purse when you want the B side to take the fight. If the fight really blows up it's even less of a percentage than that.
Why even waste time with such posturing?

Imagine if PBF had tried to slide Paq a 90/10 split. What would we have said?
The same applies to any huge prize fight. The A side is only doing that if they are not trying to see the fight happen. Wilder should absolutely not take such a ludicrous offer, and Parker's team knows it. Wilder forever punks himself in negotiations if he does.
90/10. Literally get the fuck out of here.

Charlo, would like to see him against better quality opposition. Can't call quite a few fights in middleweight division
By DY_nasty Go To PostI freaking hate it when refs give the full count to dudes who are clearly negotiating with Jesus.
He's KTFO when you hit 4 dude just get the doctor in there asap.
Really don't fancy ordering the fight, as I think haye will sprain his ankle getting into the ring but Nada else on tonight
By unknown Go To Postwho yall got? loma or linares? looking forward to carlos adames too.
Loma, dude is just to skilled however this will not be easy and only expect a marginal win. Linares should be much bigger and can take a punch. Not sure I can see loma knocking him out, maybe stoppage from a cut but loma on points.
Think linares will be quicker than loma thinks but he will adjust quickly and start timing him. Think loma is so great at that.
By HasphatsAnts Go To PostO it's lityour boy loma vs linares, people have it 50/50. Carlos Adames is a great prospect and got the W tonight.
Loma moved up for this fight. Linares looks straight up bigger. Gonna be tough for Loma, he was quick in the first round though.
EDIT:
Loma getting in to a rhythm early in the fight. Looking real good now in round 2.

Good win but not completely sold on loma, losing to an old salido is not a good look. It will take several fights to erase that.

What?! Lomachenko's skillset is crazy, we are talking about a probable atg.
