After that it's up to someone to decide to not use their waifu for one game and maybe go with a tank instead.
Much fewer heroes (or whatever they're called) in Overwatch obviously, but figuring out which heroes go well with and against which, and which go badly with and against which, is a layer of depth that I honestly thought I couldn't be bothered with in my first 6 months or so of Dota.
Some people make an effort to read up about team compositions, I learned what I know of it through osmosis though.
How much importance does composition have in Overwatch? If its a lot, I fear for its staying power on PS4. In my experience of other online games on it, nobody talks to randoms. A problem I contribute to, tbf.
and even if team composition still sucks, game is most likely over in like 5 minutes anyway. You won't be sitting there wasting half an hour of your life

I just think she takes a little too long to get into engagements. Something like a sprint with a 60 second timer would help for spawn. On attack and defense I'm just taking forever to get into the fight and I don't think her damage output is good enough to justify that shit in combo with her weak defense

I think widowmaker had the highest winrate of any hero by end of closed beta. As a SNIPER class. She's fine lol

Also, I kinda like Mercy. People think you're just a designated healer but that pistol and mobility can fuck up mcree with the quickness. Surprising amount of damage.

Platinumed i1 and 2, need to do a hard/evil playthrough to get it in SS. Doubt I'll do that though, the side stuff in SS is atrocious and you presumably need to do it for the upgrades needed to complete it on hard.
1 is my favourite, 2 is very good though.

Mei, Bastion, Tobjorn, Zarya, Symmetra, Lucio, even Soldier 76 can win matches.
When I see Mercy, all I see is a free kill as Tracer, Genji, or Reaper.

The more shields she can throw out to block damage, the more damage she does. And that ult is absolutely game changing.

She's a huge target and seems to die extra fucking fast without support/great timing+positioning.

Use the ally shield on those who are taking or about to take damage. I like throwing it on escaping targets or whoever is charging with me to break the defenses.
Use the personal shield when you are or about to be under fire.
Use hit and run tactics with her since her shield is half her health and regenerates relatively quickly. You do this to build up the damage amp on her weapon.
Use the right click when an enemy is far away or close to other enemies. It does less dps than her left click on a single target.
The left click is short range and requires good aim to keep dealing damage to a target. I also prefer using it to take out Pharra's when they are in range since they don't move very quick while in the air.
Don't expect to really kill something unless your amp damage rating is like >= 50%.
Coordinate the use of her ult with your teammates. If you can pop it off when you have a high amp damage rating, all the better (be sure to right click in this case!). It is very good for moving an enemy team out of position and getting them to stay there for a few seconds while you and your teammates unload on them. Just be careful because enemies can still fire back.
Oh yeah, most important thing with her; stick with at least one other teammate. You lose half your effectiveness when out solo. She is basically a force multiplier. Don't chase for kills if it is going to cause you to leave your buddy alone.

I don't think Zarya is that good at all really and her shields are rather useless reactively.
She might have some potential in organized play where her shields can be coordinated to make active plays with players who know they will be shielded and act accordingly.(Like to take turrets or rush a Bastions guarded by team)
but in solo play, or even casual play with a group, you're better off just playing like.....anyone else.

I guess a positive with battleborn is that the team can finally get its feet wet with PVP and maybe make Borderworlds a real competitor to destiny but idk
