best thing about this show from the first 2 episodes so far is that she has a black love interest. might be 70% of the reason I'm watching + Kritsten Ritter is a better Eva Green.

Watched first episode. Meh.
Also, it's too dark in scenes where the lighting should be providing more light. Really bad cinematography.

Mind showing some examples of what you mean? I dunno how to look for that kind of thing.

That means I would have to watch the episode again. SO NO.
Dropped after the fourth episode.

Rachel weisz in The Fountain is better than anything eva green has done
Green is a nickolodeon villain
Green is a nickolodeon villain
I like them both. I feel like Krysten is more fun to hang out with though. The dull English accent isn't helping Eva's case I guess, she should switch back to French
can't wait for the weekend to binge watch the second half of the season already aaaah

Show was good
had some glaring plot holes to cover character development around ep 10, that were "covered" by one liners in the finale.
But otherwise, good show. Not too stupid. in the realm of reality.

ole girl really is discount eva green. this is about faint resemblance and outright swagger jacking
Enjoyed this. Actually liked that they didn't refer to Kilgrave as The Purple Man, just always had him wear it etc. Tennant was phenomenal.
Probably didn't need to be 13 episodes, could have been a brilliant 10 ep show but I guess they wanted to flesh out the characters a lot more.
Liked Colter as Luke Cage. he really looks the part so I'm willing to cut him some slack on the acting front but he played it pretty well. The 'Sweet Christmas' moments didn't feel forced or unnatural at all.
Power levels in this felt waaay off though. Very inconsistent.
Fucking LOL at Simpson being Nuke what a random ass character to bother with.
This is a 6/10 show bumped to an 8/10 by the villain.
Hype as fuck for Luke Cage now. And Iron Fist. Gimme that Iron Fist marvel pls.

Show is okay so far. A little slow and supremely light in standard superhero tropes and abilities, which is kinda refreshing. This show doesn't feel like it belongs in the same Avengers universe as their other properties.
I feel bad for any families that go into this show unaware of what its about today thinking it'll just be some normal superhero TV for the holiday.
By reilo Go To Postomg this dumb ginger neighbor story needed to end eight episodes ago wtfYeah provided nothing really.
the part i didnt like about this show is how weak Jessica seems, no time in action scenes did i feel like she was an actual superpowered human
Wrapped it up last night. It was okay, definitely a notch below Daredevil, and I'd even argue below Agents of SHIELD as far as my enjoyment goes. Definitely has the weakest action of their TV franchises... the fight scenes were either badly edited, in a badly lit place, or just outright incoherent.
The other issues were that several characters were just too fucking annoying.
The other issues were that several characters were just too fucking annoying.
The core characters were finely acted and well casted. That's literally the only thing keeping this show from being a total failure. The ancillary characters and plot lines associated with them - like the neighbors, the attorney's love life, the spec ops cop guy, the crackhead next door were all either weak or just a total distraction
Her catching Kilgrave, and him escaping over and over again was infuriating. Finding out that she can withstand his powers and and didn't have to do anything new to develop that resistance and she could have just walked up to him and snapped his neck or kidnapped him was just down right insufferable.
This show needed two layers of Villains. Shows like Daredevil and 24 and others spend roughly half the show catching one bad guy only to discover the existence of a much more nefarious boss. That was downright necessary here.

I don't think you need to go that far. A MOTW format for the first 6-8 episodes where Jessica is solving cases that are all influenced by Kilgrave where it ramps up to roughly the Sin Bin arc would've been the way to go.
By Xpike Go To Postthe part i didnt like about this show is how weak Jessica seems, no time in action scenes did i feel like she was an actual superpowered human
The show took too many liberties with her strength meter.
She can withstand being thrown through walls and having Luke Cage or a drugged up super soldier kick her ass but a whack or two by a neighbor who can barely hold up a two by four and she's knocked out until tomorrow afternoon?
