Sette Note In Nero (The Psychic) was very good. The third act when everything starts to fit together is just fantastic, about 30 minutes of constant tension.
Giallo's always have some cool soundtracks.

Can anyone help me find a link to that voice recording I voiced for the SLAENT Film awards some years ago? I want to use it as a reference for this video game's voice acting casting call. I tried searching but couldn't find it. :(
I've never seen any of these parody movies (other than another teen movie)
were they any good? By good I mean, will I want to die fewer than 3 times while watching it?

they're not good.
they're more of a... 'i get that reference' marathon. which can be fun. certainly was when i was a young lad.
anyway on the topic of comedies, i rewatched airplane a few weeks back, and now that shit holds up. even if i have never been in a turkish prison.

i'd take death over that prison.

this made me check my letterboxd. i haven't rated a single 2024 film so far over 4 stars.
damn.
By WoodenLung Go To Postjoker 2 is out bois. you can now finally watch it without being scared. The pirates and reactors get to see how bad it is now.

it really is bad. i went in with the mindset of hoping to tell people they were wrong... but... the people were actually right for once. what a shit film.
don't believe wooden
I will watch it and give my UNBIASED and HONEST opinion of WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED with Joker: Folie à Deux. Stay tuned for my video review.

Watched The Clovehitch Killer, thought it was really well done for a first time director. Good performances from McDermott (who is very creepy) and Plummer too.
Did House of Gucci on Blu-ray last night ($1.25 at Dollar Tree 🤷🏻♂️) and I didn't hate it.
It's full of performances that are so over the top caricatures of these very real people that I was entertained throughout the entire run. I wouldn't call it a good picture, but it's definitely not bad either. Felt like Ridley Scott lost interest in the third act and was just rushing to wrap it all up though. The climax hits and then the credits are rolling in less than five minutes. It's like, bang; here's the fall out via text with everyone involved. The end.
Anora matinee on Thursday before heading out with the kiddies for candy. Very excited for that.

The Scary Movies are okay parodies, I've seen much worse comedies tbh, lol
Top Secret is probably the best parody ever made though, it's up there with Airplane and Black Dynamite

Batman Forever and Batman & Robin are fun to rewatch for a good laugh
Nothing redeemable about The Batman, lads

His House was great. A fantastic horror movie that mixes the real horrors refugees suffer with the supernatural.
Just watched Joker 2. It’s fine, although I wasn’t the biggest fan of the first one. It’s definitely a musical though, despite what Lady says.
Watched a film called May last night; it kept popping up in reviews and for whatever reason Prime Video was pushing it to me for weeks.
If you write out what happens its sounds extremely dark and grim but the film never felt it until right at the end. It was a bit weird. The film is all about peoples tolerance of weird I guess but idk... was just fine. It's listed as a horror film but I don't think it ever actually tried to scare.
I know Anna Faris has been in a ton of stuff but I can't not see her as her Scary Movie character in everything else.

V/H/S 85 was probably the best of the series. I don't think there was a single weak segment and it did some new things for the series by having two connected segments and another one that's connected to Scott Derickson's movie The Black Phone.
Joker Deuce was overflowing toilet, spilling sewage all over the place. Like I get it the first one was big shit but there’s no need for this goddamn.
Saw Heretic today, fell a bit short in some of the sections and quite predictable but Hugh is sensational in it. 7/10
It has been out for like month yeah. But a better quality one now that it is streaming.
The other release is a Theater release. Some mad lad figured out how to decrypt the movie files from the projectors, and leaking films straight from the theater frequently. That's also how Terrifier 3 got out there.

‘Game of Thrones’ Movie in Early Development at Warner Bros.
The world of Game of Thrones could finally end up on the big screen.Robert's Rebellion to make GRRM more mad.
Warner Bros. has been quietly developing at least one film set in George R.R. Martin’s epic fantasy universe, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Multiple sources describe the project as very early stage development, with no filmmaker, cast or writer yet attached. But the company is keen on exploring the idea of Westeros invading cinemas.
V/H/S Beyond was great. Thank god I saw that announcement by Alanah Pearce that she was in this one because it made me curious to watch it and the whole series to see what I have missed after the terrible VHS Viral.
As someone who loves found footage movies, this franchise is perfect for me and it's getting better.
31 days, 31 horror movies. It's been a while since the last time I did this but it was probably my favourite time, lots of different types of horror movies, decades and country of origin.
Probably going to do a ranking post tomorrow.
