Dembele in and Lukaku out?
Building a very mobile forward line if that's the case. I like what an in form Lukaku brings. But he's useless when he's not on it

By Cleff Go To PostDembele in and Lukaku out?it's kinda wild that even with his ball control he's probably the best passer out of all our forwards in the final third. There's plenty of times where his passes manages to penetrate defenses.

Pity that his finishing took a very sharp turn for the worse though.
On paper Lukaku has a lot of good qualities, but can't seem to take advantage of his own attributes, ends up lesser than the sum of his own parts. Its really weird.
He's always been the 'big lad' from a very young age and still thinks he can bully his way through and doesn't employ the clever movement needed at the top level.

By Perfect Blue Go To PostOh yeah baseball stadiums especially in the US sell some grotesque stuff. My god, that looks amazing. I haven't had Cracker Jacks in so long but they're the best. The main issue is that thing probably cost like $15.
By Ciaran Ashina Go To PostMandzukic started 10 out of those 12.Could've sworn he was our for a good 3 weeks or so near the beginning of the season. In any case, it was then that the no-Mandz party came alive, because we were playing better football without him and Ronaldo was taking like 10 shots per game. He was a bit unlucky as far as scoring goes, but he was firing from all cylinders and didn't need Mandzukic to do so. Berna did just fine, even Dybala seemed alive for a while there.
and no, it wasn't his most prolific, Ronaldo started a bit slow. Scored one brace and three goals in that period.

All this is making me seem anti-Mario. I'm not. He's been mostly brilliant for us. Having said that, he's not my favourite type of striker and I never denied it. I'll gladly leave the decision to keep or sell him to our management / future coach. Personally, I'd ship him off him and put his considerable stipend towards a younger striker. Or a new MF / CB. Maybe give Kean a proper chance instead.
I honestly don't care about results next season, I want to see an evolution of the old Juve model. I'm tired of it.
By Laboured Go To PostAulas is a real pain to work with by all accounts. Looks like they paid €22m for him... probably will want €50-60m. Probably a decent place to start negotiations at though.

He played in 30 games (Ronaldo 39), without him we lost to United and got knocked out by Ajax and Atalanta. Quite fucking damning if you ask me. And better yet, Dybala played in his favourite position

I'm just showing you the receipts here, not necessarily arguing against selling him.
if it was up to me, I'd start Kean every week. And I hope Sarri/Inzaghi does.

Yeah there seems to be a weird prevailing narrative on Memphis that he's been good since leaving when actually in the main he's been pretty shit.

“Today Tottenham is, for me, the best club in the world when we talk about facilities,” he told talkSPORT.
“This training ground and the new stadium, which is the best in the world, there is no better club. And then it's in London, there's no better city, it's England, it's the Premier League – the toughest and most exciting league.
“We need to make that step and of course, we realise we can continue in this process and we can put Tottenham with the best teams in the world.
“There's still a lot of work to do, but of course, I am so motivated to stay with Tottenham and provide Tottenham with what they deserve.”

Seems to be what the City ITKs are thinking will happen. They're certainly not like for like.

he usually has good ideas in the final 3rd. its just the lottery of if he'll execute all the shit up to delivering the final ball.

Think Ole has made a mistake in trying to openly mandate that all signings are done before per-season. That never works and just adds un-needed pressure. Also he's working with Woodward so he should know he's not capable of pulling that off.

You're right. Was the wrong move, especially given the circumstances with United.
These things are guaranteed to happen:
We will not move more than 1 CB, probably Bailly instead of Rojo
Mata stays
No one will pay for Darmian
We will not sign a senior RW
Will go into the season needing 1 more CM at least
By deadline day we will see reports of desperate bids on impossible to get players we obviously won't get
Ole will pretend everything went fine

You lot getting nervous about the final yet? I'm trying not to think about it tbh
Feel like for Spurs they've made a massive step forward in getting there, while for us we have to win it to show that we are actually capable of being winners rather than challengers.

You are not losing to lolspurs, sorry to say.
The EL could go either way tho. Think it's 60/40 in favor of Arse.

Our recent record vs Arsenal is a disgrace. Mourinho had the key.
We seem to have the right idea in going after these young players. Could be of great benefit to us down the line.

Fewer egos, cheaper, hungrier, easier to coach and with far more energy.
They just need to be good with high ceilings.
Word is Mata is leaving Inky.
We might let De Gea leave on a free.... but I dont really like the risk. It's less on not making money on De Gea's transfer but more on how he will perform after.
Other than that, yeah. It's going to be rough.

I make us favourites, which doesn't feel right. Tough to say what state either team will be in considering the players who will be back and were missing at the end of the domestic season, and the three week gap. Either team could be freshened by it, or look leggy like we did when we came back from Dubai.
